I also have the crowning tool from Bownells that I use with my lathe. Do you take the brass part to line up the tool with the barrel ? What speed is de lathe doing when crowning ?

So my next question is, what veloctity can I get with a 8 to 10″ barrel and modded valve or Blodnob valve in cal .22 ? Shot count doesn’t matter.

Is cal. 20 a better option for a flat trajectory up to 55 yards with enough hitting power ?
