The Nikon scopes normally work well so are always worth the cash. For the prices your looking at I have also had really good luck with  Nikko Sterling and Hawke scopes as well so are worth a look.</p>

The angle of view does not change deepening how far you look. so if you have 100m field of few at 100m distance then you will have a 10m field of view at 10m. <p>For example even at high magnification of 10 and over a MTC Viper Connect will still have a very wide field of view and feel more natural. </p>
<p>Though some people prefer lighter scope or more eye relief so scopes do vary massively.</p>

However these rifles are easy to go to much speed out of. So bit redundant unless your after pushing Max shot count. I would say if its your only barrel just try it with no choke. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>To remove the stock scope rail easiest way is just strip the frame and pop it on a milling bench. Most machine shops could do it for you. May be easiest just to try a local one. There are a few US guys on this forum who have done similar work so you could try sending them a PM. Sadly all the guys I know are based outside the US. </p>

Also a larger bore with heaver pellet will allow the air more efficiently to impart its energy on the pellet. As to if you could get 12ftlb out of it there is only one way to find out. </p>

I&#8217;m not up to speed on the newest generation of spin lock talons so could not comment on them. I suspect if your running a bigger bore such as .22 with your power wheel turned up a bit it would see a good gain.</p>

The adapter also drops the tank slightly allowing you to keep your scope mounted nice and low. The lower the scope you can mount the less radical your drop compensation will have to be.
