How do you dump a Tank
I recently put an E-tac on my Talon and after getting everything lined up and put back together, realized it was slowly leaking and losing 1k psi a day. I tightened up the gauge and the fill nipple, now it doesn’t seem to leak, but is hard to fill. Is it possible that I tightened in the fill nipple to far and now it is blocking the fill hole? I need to dump the pressure from my tank and don’t feel like dry firing it for a half an hour.. any ideas?

The problem is by the time you get it back it may be out of warranty.
Although I think he has already figured it out to Simply replace the thread seal tape with more wraps than before and don’t drive it down in so far the next time.

Sam, it’s known as Boyles Law. I’ll quote as it explains it better than I can…
The Ideal Gas Law states pV = nRT, where P = The pressure of the gas in Pa, V = Volume of gas in m3, n = Number of moles of gas, R = A constant of about 8.314 and T = Temperature in K.
To put it in simple way the pressure in the tank is due to internal energy of the molecules of gas,now release the air all of sudden, then gas will come out but it needs energy to come out,it will use its own energy, thjat means gas used its internal energy,since it lost its energy, its gets cold thus the tank in which it was kept becomes cold.
(But it follows certain laws)
In physics, the Joule–Thomson effect or Joule–Kelvin effect describes the increase or decrease in the temperature of a real gas when it is allowed to expand freely at constant enthalpy (which means that no heat is transferred to or from the gas, and no external work is extracted)
As a gas expands, the average distance between molecules grows. Because of intermolecular attractive forces (Van der Waals force), expansion causes an increase in the potential energy of the gas. If no external work is extracted in the process (“free expansion”) and no heat is transferred, the total energy of the gas remains the same because of the conservation of energy.
The increase in potential energy thus implies a decrease in kinetic energy and therefore in temperature.
Profanity is really not neccessary, fill nipples are quite oftenly over tightenned.
