What does an Edgun Matador with serial number 2034 mean?
I have an opportunity to buy a used Matador with serial number 2034. Can someone tell me if this serial number has most of the recent modifications to the Matador or is this an older model?
Also are there any issue with this version of the Matador?

So basically Edgun is like AK-47 or AKS-74 but the only difference is that Edgun is using air 🙂 Hmmm…. with that kind of success Edgun might be used as a future weapon for the armies around the world. All you have to do is aim in the eye of the enemy and from 100m you can win the battle 🙂 No more body shots, just eye shot 🙂 Awesome!!!!
When I was in fhe Forces in 88, once our group was standing outside the barracks with our AKS-74. We put them on the asphalt and stepped out for a while, waiting for the group commander, about two dozens AKS-74 were on the asphalt. Suddenly the truck appeared on the parade-ground and it moved to us with the good speed about 30-40 mph. We rushed away the truck drove exactly on our AKS-74, they were “jumping” up and we were afraid they were killed. No way — ALL the weapon was in a perfect condition, the only thing we had to do, to remove the parts of the asphalt from it. When I met Mr. Kalashinikov I told him about it and I found that didn’t surprised him a lot 🙂

Ok Mark….you caught me. The WD40 had absolutely no effect on the concrete. I fudged a bit on that fact.
I really like that fish oil for cleaning things up. I take a teaspoon myself each morning.

The Matadors are built like a fine Swiss watch and are as sturdy as a Russian tank!
Unless you happen to run over it with your vehicle, the .22s are bulletproof. You won’t need any replacement parts except for O rings. If you need any of them, pm me and I will set you up.
I backed over my Edgun with my Toyota truck last summer. Had to buy a new tire and rim, bent the axle a bit too, but not so much that I had to replace it.
After I wiped down the Edgun with some WD40 you couldn’t even tell I had to use it as a jack handle to get that back wheel off and repaired. After I jacked up the truck, I stuck the Edgun between the axle and driveway to hold the truck up till the new rim and tire came in. Didn’t seem to hurt the Edgun, except the concrete chipped a bit. I tried wiping the concrete down with WD40, but couldn’t see where it helped much.
Next time I’ll know to be more careful than leave an Edgun lying on the driveway. Those things are dangerous!

Can someone provide an earlier serial number Matador and tell me if it is current with all features? I’m concerned picking up an older version that people are telling me to stay away from.

From what I know so far nothing is wrong with it according to the seller. I don’t see any black epoxy; however, I’ve never seen a Matador with black epoxy so I’m hoping this is good to go.
I’m just concerned of having any issues and with Ed’s current situation, it will be difficult to get parts to fix any problems.
Where is this black epoxy and what is the deal with it?
