Go with roachcreeks advice when u reposition the spring it will cock more firmly and seems stronger
Oh naw just easier to keep track of I guess. Maybe lest dirt can get in though?
I left my pins out… Do you think it really makes a difference other then for esthetics?
This is what you need dude!

You need to remove the safety spring and baulk piece along with the rest of the safety pieces to fix your cocking issue. Just put the pins back in. Hope this helps.
Ok, I got what you mean, thank you for the advice, will try it tomorrow
Give it a try. mine had an extra spring that was identical to the other 3 that laid down in front of the safety mechanism. So I just used that one.
Did you reposition the extra spring under the sear so now you have two springs pushing up on the sear? (the blue part in the diagram)
And yes you’re correct, the spring has been changed on the safety in newer models so the diagram is dated a bit.
I see that there is still have a room for extra spring at the sear, so to make it work, I must put another extra spring for more pressure?

my trigger mechanism is the new one like GlennD and LTlurker said at the diagram.
so can it work? I mean after I remove the safety block what else I must do to make it work?
shift the spring at the sear to near the hammer? or add more spring to give more pressure to the sear so it can lock the hammer?
thank you, and sorry for late reply to the forum
That is the same setup that both my Talon’s have.
This is actually the new trigger set-up…correct? This was what I have in my Talon SS. The spring at the end of the safety just lays in horizontally.

LT, that is exactly what I did.. I had the same issue, although my issue didn’t show yo right away

Instead of the the little spring they have another just like the bigger ones, lying down sideways. I took everything out of both of my TSS’s and just repositioned the extra spring to apply a little more pressure to make sure the hammer locks every time you cock it.
I bought a Talon SS ( a blue one in .22) about a month ago and pulled the safety out before it was scoped and shot.
I had the same problem. The new Talon SS didn’t look like the picture above. I’m thinking it’s a old style from back a few years because it’s the same as the Talon SS .177 I bought back in 06.
Anyhow in the picture above the spring (“C” in the pic) on the right doesn’t match up with mine. Mine is a big fat one, like the three on the left side (above the trigger, safety knob and to the right of that.
The little spring to the right of the safety bar needs to stay in place.
The big fat one all the way on the right needs to come out along with the safety bar.
I hope this helps. The hardest part was getting the grip back on. In less than 30 minutes I had the gun back together. (remember I have done this before, so it might take you a little longer).

keep em in there to assist in closing in the group a bit, and in case the gun lasts long enough to wear the pins, PRESTO! you got 2 xtras…
