Q:

One Piece Condor Valve

Hi Guys,

Could any of you produce a condor valve-like piece that would fit into a standard AF tank?

1. Solid, one piece, no valves, always open.
2. No Burst Ring.
3. Yes adjustable tophat.
4. Yes to flats or spanner hole to be able to torque the sucker down.

I have an electronically operated valve concept that I’m working on and I’m about ready to rig it to my gun. With this piece I’ll be able to hot swap any regular tank+valve and my frankenstein.

Frankenstein:

AF TANK->My Stuff which ends in standard AF tank female threading->This Piece->Condor Collar.

Am I making any sense?

THE T.A.-P? 😕 😆

Oh boy oh boy. DYOTAT you are the man.

I just got the piece in-hand today. She is even sexier in person.

Who has a chrony and some time to kill? I have a Plug and play “smart” tank and valve that needs to be humbled. The thing knows what pressure you have in the tank and the weight of your pellet, so it knows how long to keep the valve open per shot in an attempt to keep consistency.

I figure if things are going to sink or swim, the pool might as well be the talon airgun pond.

MAD SKILLS!!!!! 😆

Baller!

X-mas wishes do come true!

Thanks Dyotat, she looks like a million bucks.

Here is what he wanted. One piece condor valve.

I assume that the choked ones are the gradual chokes on the hammer forged barrel and the unchoked ones are not choked in any way

but not sure…

a choke on a hammer forged barrel seems a bit redundant to me…theyre choked by nature 😕

🙂 The funny this is, is that even I thought that they were getting hard to get, however a quick google got me where I wanted. UK company by the way….sorry haha. However the funny thing is, is that they offer choked BSA blanks for £60 and then offer un-choked blanks for £90, I didn’t know that they did un-choked barrels

I’m person who made the one piece stems for Pabs, however I got caught up in college work and now am at university do no personal lathe access, however im in my first semester and don’t really know what kind of access I have to the uni machines in my personal time but we have loads of manual lathes and mills and also CNC mills and lathes 🙂

I’ve only just looke back on the forum in about a year

Dave

Daves one piece stem was top notch. I tried to point you guys in his direction for this fuckin’ ages ago….. 🙄

Cheers Pab, havent been in contact with anyone on the forum for ages. College work, A – levels etc. just finished my first semester of mechanical engineering at uni and loving it. Still need to figure out the machine usage and if we are allowed to have personal projects made oon the CNC machines.

Over Christmas ive decided to turn my rifle into a sub 12FPE .177 shooter, Managed to find BSA blank barrels that are blued for £60 a piece.

Hope you have all been keeping well

Dave

so YOURE the reason i cant find a bsa blank to save my life!… 👿 👿

Here is the start of the one piece valve. Got off early today, which is rare for me. Have to cut the 7/8′ threads and drill it from this side. Then flip it and cut the 18mm threads.

Huh? sorry, I didn’t check your picture out yet, just taking a break here and there from the lathe. When I stand and work long periods like this my knees swell up to the size of melons and I have to stop due to the pain. Back kills you after a day of doing this as well. I look like the friggin hunchback of notre dame. Before I started, even.

although there will always be a need for a cheap stupid valve, I think inevitably this will also end up in the digital domain because smart control of the valve can yield so much in benefit; much more efficient use of air; much much much much much quieter gun without a shroud.

course, I been known to be wrong, like that time i thought the doggie treat smelled just fine and ate it. Read the label and it was some kind of horse meat, half an hour later I was beet red EVERYWHERE and itchy like you wouldn’t believe and gulping gallons of water trying to dilute the toxins in my system.
