Q:

Revolution, Monsoon, Giant Stupid Test Video…

This video has caused quite a stir around various ag forums… My main question about this whole thing is if you have no marker for the first point of aim what’s to say the follow up shots were aimed at the original point of aim as the first? I won’t even get into the shitty rest they are using.

I’m not a big fan of FX rifles but this is simply a retarded way to test accuracy in my opinion.

I know a few folks has said you have to find the best ammo for the rifle… I don’t buy it for one second.

A truly accurate rifle shouldn’t be super picky with the type of pellets it’s fed. Once the supply of that specific pellet/die is gone your stuck with an inaccurate rifle, right? So how can you say it’s really accurate if there are no pellets available to shoot accurately with it? 😕

Now add a price tag in the $1500 range and I begin to think the manufacturer is trying to sell junk when they claim it’s critical to find the one pellet that works in said rifle. Even more so when they don’t actually produce or control the ‘magic’ pellet’s production.

😯 those guys did not know a few things, poi? the caliper was funny!
I own a bunch of diffrent air guns,I have a FX cyclone ,its still one of my favorite guns to shoot its light, powerful and shoot very accurate, accuracy is not to blame if the shooter is not one with the gun 🙄

Thats some good shooting Slayer….WOW

RC…i understand man. I still have my condor and it works. My next and last project with it is a total make over including a 9mm caliber swap. MADDOG stock and either lw or green mountain 9mm barrel plus breech…etc..etc…should make for a sweet thumper. But that’s future.

I have posted groups from my Daystate at 50 yards 40 shots covered by a quarter. this is on a bench using a rolled up towel as front rest not ideal conditions. lol
Trust me it is not me the trigger and accuracy of the Daystate far exceed my shooting talents! 😳

My Condors do serve a purpose and one of those was learning about PCP’s. This next late summer I will take them to southeren Harney county to call dogs and they will earn their keep.

When the Speed becomes available in 25, and it lives up to its hype, it will probably replace the Condors.

If I would have paid full new price on the Leupold, FX and pellets (6000), it would have been right at 3K.

But life is about experiences and right now I am experiencing great air guns.

Yes my Daystate is in another world compared to Condor but price is out of this world also! lol
It is tough to justify $2000 for an airgun and scope!
Condor, alot of power and decent accuracy for not alot of $$$
Condor got me hooked on air guns!

Being I have a Bipod on my airguns and a real shaky table to shoot off of, Both of the groups look good to me 😀

Tof,

True story, those AF rifles don’t get much action these days. 🙄

I shot a squirrel yesterday out the bedroom window, it was 44 yards out, the FX pinned it exactly where I held.

When I think of all the money I have put into the AF platform, I could have two FX’s.

You should have just asked. We would have told you. The FX Royale runs $1600-1800.

You could also get similar accuracy with the Rapid in the same price range.

They are better guns then the Airforce guns and their price reflects that.

The AF guns run $500-600 and are a good option for a lot of shooters.

Synosys,

😆

Worst part is it will probably sell better that the original Rogue… 😕

Synopsys,

I did hear that Crosman was coming out with a Limited run Rogue commerative, I had no idea it was semi and full auto tho.

I had heard it had the airtube machine etched in a pinapple pattern and instructions to fill to 6500 PSI and has a special vest to strap to your chest to hold it for filling.

They call it The Allahu AKbar commerative.

Seems the first run all go to the Crosman Rogue R&D team.

RC, you didn’t hear Crosman is going to release a full auto and semi-auto Rogue at the Shot Show?!?!?! 😆 🙄

Your over 100 yard groups were pretty too. 😉

One thing is for sure, the technology in the airgun world is certainly progressing at an exciting rate!! 😀
