I can’t believe how they shipped my new rifle to me! It was just rediculious! How DARE they triple box it! Took me a good 2 and a half minutes to un pack it! I want that time back. Don’t they realize that is less time for me to put a new scope on it, refill it, sight it in. and write this bullshit rant.

I did wind up buying the silver bears at that gun shop . they shoot kinda like the crow magnums do.
And you would not need those twisty turny thingies in the barrel any more because the slugs would have them.
That must be so rough not having ammo, but I have been there.
When I was 22, my first wife of many to come, would not let me buy any ammo for my newest purchase, I had to wait until the next month to buy ammo for my brand new 9MM S&W Mdl 39.
I got even, I stopped her at 2 am while working the 2nd night shift as a State Trooper, she was in her bosses pickup truck turning into a motel, it was his birthday. She later said she knew it was me and had told her boss, I can’t imagine the fear that caused.
I had a issue Model 28 S&W 357 on my hip, I could have saved tons of money on the divorce right then and there, but I professionally and cooly touched the brim of my troopers hat, said good evening and did an about face on my boot heel and walked to my patrol car and left.
Never considered shooting them really, I did think about giving him 2 bucks to buy decent piece of ass.
But I went on to better things., she is still a cunt. And me? Why as you pointd out, I became a professional sperm donor. 😛
And later was known on the TAG as the most interesting man in the world. 😛

Go to the isle that has 1/4 x20 all thread, then get a hack saw, and make your own steel Jerry’s slugs.
Put the all thread in a vice and cut off 1/2 inch chunks, load them up and fire away. If they don’t group well it may be because your not cutting a sqaure end on them, so be careful on that cut. ❗
Now bear in mind they will have more rings than the Jerrys slugs, but they will also be much lighter and go real fast.
Remember that Jim Gaska makes replacement barrels for the MRod, just incase you may need one after your home made Jerry’s slugs. 😛
Seriously if you were closer I would send you some Kings.

I de-pinged the Maudie today. It was easy. The ping is still there but nowhere as loud. I think I am going to tame the beast so she is not so much of an air hog. If gauge is at 2000 PSI when I start I get 2 clips before It goes down to 1000 PSI and needs to be refilled. Then again I only started with 2500 PSI left in my SCUBA tank and can not refill it yet.
I also did the spring mod, and turned the hammer spring and preload out half a turn each.

Aww men this SUCKS! I just ran outta pellets for my .25 M-Rod and now I am really Jonesing to shoot it. I have looked every where for pellets in the couch in my recliner junk drawers closets tool boxes and not 1 .25 pellet to be found ARRRG
I ask PA if I could change my rifle order to include pellets, but they told me it was all packed up and ready to go. I just do not know if I can wait the extra 3 day for them toarrive now. I have checked the LGS’s and they only have Beeman silver bears I think it was. I just wish I knew how they work in the Maudie. I saw 1 review where someone liked them in the M-Rod on PA. Any one else have any luck with em?
I have noticed the shroud, tube and reciever pick up fingerprints like crazy. Is there any kind of protectant i can apply that will keep this from happening so much? I clean it with divers grease now but i will run out fast if I keep that up.

Getting that attorney spring out of there make a huge difference in your ability to be accurate. The way it comes from the factory, the trigger is not adjustable. You can turn those screws all you want, but the spring is so heavy that it won’t make much difference. After you remove that spring, you’ll notice/perceive the difference immediately. I liked my trigger with the stock adjustment after I removed that heavy spring. You’ll see. 😉
Did you shoot it today? What did you think? The trigger gets much better after you remove the attorney spring. 😉
I shot it some. I need to work on my hold. I have a scope level coming from PA. I am not quite ready to start taking it apart just yet.
