My highest 25 LBT FPE so far or so I thought
These energies are in the 134 to 179 FPE range if my chrony is correct.
I was filling to very high PSI levels, I dropped down to 3200 PSI and got the lower group by filling between shots.
I seems the higher the velocity the tighter they group. Also bear in mind that these groups were shot with a 2×7 Burris that is Parallaxed at 100 yards.
This is with the barrel I prepped yesterday with my hillbilly lathe and Airarcher valve parts, hammer and hammer spring and Tagdaggers rear bushing which replaces the power wheel and rear bushing.
They are also noticably higher, 110 FPS, than what the barrel was giving with the added one inch of choke. I suspected that swaging bullets with air was a velocity theif.

RC, Indeed cutting off the choke was undoubtably the best thing I ever did for my Condor but I only tried it because I already had Walters barrel shooting really well so I knew I had it to fall back on. I also figured if I couldnt recrown it properly I had at least 2 fellow members here who could fix it for me.
The barrel already shot kings pretty well, and kodiaks acceptably well but that was about it. Once in a while I could get good groups from Eun jins so I had to wonder if the choke was to blame for the shotgunning patterns.
Removing the choke made the EJ pellets shoot much better but still not good enough. Then I shot kings again and holy cow they were even better than before.
The big surprise was the Benjis. They are in a class by themselves in this barrel and before the crown removal they were barely equal to kodiaks. I literally never pick up the AA410 anymore because the Condor is just that good. So in my opinion a good unchoked barrel is more consistent than its choked counterpart. Afterall, the choke removal is all I changed to make 4 tested projectiles shoot better.
