Q:

If you have to choose 1 Edgun

Hello-

with all the excitement all (you guys) having I want to be on the bandwagon too.

For those who have the Edgun, if you can only have one or your go-to-Edgun. WHich one would it be?

.25 or .22, bullpup, standard or long? and does the long feel that long or not?

Also, is there any accuratcy diff between the standard and long at long distance or just the standard one used mroe air?

thanks,

EdGun

Reading all this… why a .22 std instead a .22 Long?

Because its more compact and accuracy is the same.

only more shot count?

Shot count and Standard is a lil bit louder than Long.

Well I had to choose and I picked a Lelya in 177, but i’m going to use it for competition, would have picked a Matador in 177 standard length (if it were an option).

If I were to hunt with air i’d go with a 22 standard or long. Although the 25 caliber is great too.

Wait, did I just pick three? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Is this a trick question or something… ๐Ÿ˜†

A shorty in 22 cal, multishot, +/-1 fps speed variation between shots.

Maybe state also wherefor you will use it?

I’ve shot now R3 in .25 and .22 and for me, the most easy to shoot and the one that gives the best results is the .22 BUT INDOOR, IN shootingrange at 100m.

Outside, we have a complete different story!

Thank you Kiba and OG for making my decision more clearer and easier. 25 LONG IT IS!

now all I have to do is wait/hope until for Xmas… ’cause I just got ont he list. ๐Ÿ˜†

Xbangu, yes, the barrel will swap but, if you are wanting to go from a 25 to a 22, you would need a 22 cal breech assembly. If going from a 22 to a 25, you would need a 25 breech assembly AND the 25 cal baffles in the moderator.

Ok,

You guys really made me consider a .25 .

I can’t afford or want 2 airguns so … anyone interested in a R3 .22 long ?

Another question?

Is the barrel swapable i.e. .25 to .22 or v.v

If I could choose?

A Edgun standard in cal .223 that shoot 41 grainers at 300m/s

I don’t think that the reg could be turned up enough to get 300m/s out of a .223 standard shooting 41 grain bullets.

How about a .224 long version shooting 35 grain slugs at 290m/s?

I’ve got the stuff ordered.
