Q:

Aftermarket Bullpup kit $550 – Lefty Madrid

New seller, Left Madrid started selling bullpup kit at $550.
The price seems to be set as the same as Pekator kit.

Are they bullpups?

I am also dreaming of a thousand dollar Air Arms bullpup or twelve hundred with a Minelli stock.

Pay attention Hoot, there will be a test later. 😉

I stopped by Synopsys’ home today because he advertised some free stuff to give away.

When I arrived, this is what I saw:

I don’t care if his wife did print it….it’s in poor taste! I left empty-handed. Damn white trash! Bad neighborhood, wasn’t even a double-wide!!!

At first I thought you AA bullpup price was high, but upon some reflection it could be done. Unfortunately they will probably charge a few hundred over…

WHAT ?????? Are there words missing here?

Puzzled….

Too bad the “Bulldog” bullpup name is already taken…! 😆 😉

Yep. The bullpup market may get crowded real soon. I was emailed directly from the owner of one well known and established airgun stock maker that he might be getting into the bullpup kit market as well for several of the real popular guns (like the Marauder rifle). He thinks the market is there but he was evaluating his kit cost. Crosman might throw a wrench in the gears for him if they come through with a reasonable kit. A molded synthetic M-Rod bullpup kit for under maybe three-hundred dollars could really shift things. I am also dreaming of a thousand dollar Air Arms bullpup or twelve hundred with a Minelli stock.

Agreed!

Lefty has lost his credibility big time.

He might recover a bit once the actual product gets in the hands of a forum member to test, fit, and report on quality. His problem now is whether Benjamin will beat him to the punch.

Lefthymadrid updated the latest news page as below:

AFTER RECOVERY, (HEALTH ISSUES)…, I WILL ONLY OFFER THE MR1 FOR THE M-ROD. IN BATCHES OF 10 (ALREADY MADE UNITS). SO WAITING TIME WILL ONLY BE FOR THE ACTUAL SHIPPING PERIOD. I DEEEPLY APOLIGIZE FOR THE DELAYS, AND INTEND TO GET THIS DONE, IF THIS HEART OF MINE PERMITS!

Looks like the web site is still accepting $$ and those web updates were somewhat recent. When was the heart attack? If late in February what was going on before that?

C’mon guys, I was born at night, but it wasn’t last night. :banghead:

I just got an e-mail from PayPal and Lefty has refunded my money for the Mrod kit.. 😀 😯

Great news to me and a good sign for Leftys character 🙂 did take a while but he did come through. ❗ ❗ ❗

Thank you Lefty….

I got this e mail from Lefty Madrid in reference to an e mail I sent to 1oldguy2 (Joe Underwood)

We’ll see…….. 😕

[i]Dave, I am barely able to set these words, so my wife will help. I
have had health issues, (Heart problems) I just got back, and will try
to recup. I have had my wife (God bless her) for helping me return
everyone’s money for the orders. I am deeply sorry, for I did not know
I would suffer a heart attack. I would never ever steal from anyone! I
am a Christian, and go to church. That’s so nice of you to want to
help others. But I assure you, I would never do such a thing. My wife
has returned everone’s money today. I am determined to finish this
darn kit, as soon as I can do it. I will.

Regards, Jessie Please let others know, I
would certainly appreciate that. I can’t do much right now.
