How can you tell what version of Edgun ?

I had purchased 2 years ago an edgun .22 multishot from someone on the Talon Forum. (pictures several weeks ago on a different topic.)
How can I tell what version I have?
I am contemplating to sell and would like to be correct if I post it.

I hope your right about Edgun options for 2013 but won’t hold my breath. With Cricket’s shipment of 50 about to be delivered to the USA wtih more options to calibers in very near future I think Ed may have to keep us informed a bit more as to options and new designs along with availability in regards to real time.
These clips are manual-operated, you have to rotate them with hand after each shot. A lot of Russian masters do stuff like this.
I wrote him in Russia.
I received a broken English response that they cost $75 USD each and the money had to be wired to a Russian bank.
I’ve lost the email long ago, but the way I contacted him was to do a Youtube search for Edgun Magazine and his was one of those. I posted a message for him to contact me and eventually he did.
I think Ed may do something in 2013, so I’d wait a bit and see what comes out of his fertile mind next year.

That magazine is my favorite to date, not speaking from experience but due to the fact it appears small and non invasive. I wish they were available.
just realised i hadnt placed it square on the gun but i was rushing a bit and it does fit flush when done properly.. š š

I do recognize the mag now that I see a picture of it. Thanks for posting it. It too looks to be very compact and well made. I think the sercret to being compact for the edgun manual magazine would be in its design ability to only hold eight or less pellets. This is only from an observation point of view of my own. With that being said I have read your post above in regards to the newly purchased .25 edgun mag you have. Looks great and you can speak from experience in regards to its performance and its function in respect to check weld. Looks like this one particular one as well as the others will function equally well for both RH or LH. I must admit though it does look a little more bulky in circumference wise as opposed others I have seen, then again its 10 shot instead of 8. I personal would like to see this guy take this unit to stage two by reducing size even if it means 2 or 3 shots less. Does look to be built well and glad to see someone stepping forward in a long over due offering. I am glad to hear that this unit is not unfriendly to the user. Here are some pics of the magazine that Tony sold for a short time. This is .22 caliber, 8 shots and made for the R2.5 (won’t fit on the R3 because of design changes)
That was available for a very short time, have yet to see them offered again. As far as a manual magazine I think that particular one is of the best design. Seems to be both right and left hand friendly. How does it perform? Do you have an extra laying around?!!!! Do you know if anyone has them available or even where one might begin asking? Tony of Edgun USA sold them for a very short period but have since become nonexistent with no leads. You have one of the few that Iām aware of. Hope it works as good as it looks. Mike
hi mike i bought mine direct via ed, as yuri doesnt speak english , i live in the uk so it was the only link i had to these mags, they work well and sorry i dont have a spare, if you knew anyone who is good at making this sort of stuff then the design is simple enough its basicaly an hand turn flywheel in a steel can with a powerful magnet to keep it still..del š

my mistake – its been a couple of years. Thanks for the clarification. I guess i don’t recall the one Tony sold – two piece I don’t remember. Would be interested in seeing one. The one that moonbear has was the one that held my interest, one reason because I’m left handed and that particular one seems quite compact and least invasive for either shooter. Again thanks for the clarification – I hate passing on wrong information!
The one in the video is not the one that Tony sold for a short time. The one Tony sold was 2 pieces, a fixture that you install on the breech end of the barrel and the magazine itself.
There is someone who is making a one piece magnet attached magazine. I’ll try to post some more info in the next day or two.

Ed does business using a different business model than most people.
Profit generation is the primary focus of most business plans. Ed makes Edguns because he enjoys it!
I suspect he could stop making bullpups, and still be financially comfortable for the rest of his life.
So…Ed will likely do something interesting, rather than react to Maverick’s marketing activity. This next year may be very interesting in Edgun world. Multi-shot is one option, semi-auto, convertable to single shot, has been mentioned by Ed before, with the ability to stop the next pellet from loading.
Time will tell.
