Q:

Condor to FX Verminator

Sold my Talon valved Condor, it’s headed overseas. I’m a little sad, but excited at the same time. I didn’t expect it to sell as fast as it did, but now I’ve got the funds for my next rifle.

I’d been looking at the FX guns for a long time. The precision and smooth twist barrel really appeal to be. The Verminator was already on the short list when one popped up used at AOA. Ordered it this morning with an extra mag.

How many of you have Verminators and whats your experience been with them? Thanks TAG. 😎

Wolfeman; Adam11977 warned you that the Verminator is a total piece of shit!

I find it very hard to believe that you bought one after he posted his very negative findings on the gun! 😯

Good looking gun!

Please let us know how it shoots.

PS; don’t hammer the bottle into the receiver: the bottle and the receiver both have treads and the bottle needs to be screwed into the receiver. I expect that using the Adam hammer method WILL cause an air leak.

I don’t own a Verminator so: I could be wrong on that.

Dear Your Goatship….

If you use a 90 Duro O ring, hammering the bottle into the receive is a perfectly good way to reattach the thingees together!!!

Personally, I’ve done it many times to the considerable number of air guns I’ve owned, and eventually tossed. The only difference is I use Green LocTite to fill the gaps as the threads are forced past each other.

I do agree it shouldn’t be done by just anyone. I happen to own a 3lb hammer, as does my close friend Adam. The key is to not hammer beyond the point where the lip of the bottle begins to curl backwards…and that, my friend, takes experience!

Kindest regards, but stick to Edguns and leave the tools of ignorance to the truely ignorant!!!!

I remain…..humbly,

Kindly ‘Ol Uncle H 😯 😯 t

Perhaps you need to reacquaint yourself with the rules around here.

Oh Yeah! 😯 That is SWEET Wolf! πŸ˜€ Let us know how she shoots!

Mike

Got the Verminator and love it. No leaks, wickedly accurate, and feels very precise compared to the Condor. Now I just need to figure out how to put a bipod on it.

LOL!

Now what was this conversation supposed to be about?

My thread has been sooooo hijacked…..

A good copper jacketed, sierra boat tail, pellet! Needle tipped hollow point, with a tungston-rod down the center!

C’mon…. how hard could they be to cast???

Good grief Jerry… the market awaits the next big innovation. The. 257’s are headed that way already. I can see it now… the “Jerry 7 ring SS Stinger” @ $50 USD per 20-Pak!

Time for my meds… it’s getting late.

H 😯 😯 t

Hoot,

It sounds like the guy on the yellow is discovering that diabolo pellets are not designed for transsonic/supersonic flight.

Hey, I resemble that remark !! πŸ‘Ώ πŸ˜†

Sorry about that. πŸ˜† πŸ˜‰

That middle gun is the same as the bottom one… a simple Pnuema. Bottom one is the Elite model, which I still have a hard time grouping… but the single shot version is spot on.

I wish it were a BSA!
