Only the Shoebox. I have the chain drive model. The belt drive model is more quiet.

Hi Pabs, how’s merry ol’ England? Have you viewed his videos yet. I think he did a good job. I like the Shoebox. Many people are happy with them. Tom stands by his products. Gary, as others have, has documented his success well in a manner that conveys the message that anyone can be set free from the dive shop blues. You know, are they open today? Will I get a full 4500psi fill? For some guys it’s a real crap shoot as to whether or not they have access to reliable air power. That’s why I didn’t buy a Rapid. Instaed I bought my Hammworthy…before the Shoebox became available.

If you are thinking about buying a Shoebox, I say Go For It!!!

Joe Brancato’s Great White and Guppy tanks are great additions to our sport also.

I’ll include Mr. Shelden’s link also for those who want a faster fill time, or who are fillling many tanks…like a club or something.

(OMG! He’s got some Rock-and-Roll compressors!!!)

Yes, your videos are good. Also, nothing blew up, or crashed to the floor. I think in the fullest sense, “that went well”. 😀 Good work Gary. Thanks for sharing. My compressor is boring. It just goes tuck-it-ta, tuck-it-ta and 9-12 minutes later the cylinder is full. So far, the most exciting part is when I blow the moisture separators. I hope that’s all the excitement I ever encounter. 😉

I agree! 😯
I remember one time I filled my air arms 410 and did not relieve the pressure before removing the fill adapter. Boom 😳

WooHoo! Welcome to the club! 😀

My Shoebox just completed it’s first 4500PSI fill and shut off by itself. What a great tool!

I received my Guppy and fill whips from Joe B. yesterday. I assembled the din into the valve. I connected the QC fittings from the Shoebox to the Guppy. I checked all my connections to make sure everything is tight.
I turned on my first stage compressor. While the first stage was filling, I opened the valve on the Guppy, and checked to make sure the vent knob was closed. I did the same for the Shoebox fill whip, and the Shoe box it self. Once the first stage compressor was filled I turned on the Shoebox.
Everything appears in great running order. The pistons were getting hot, but I could still keep my finger on them for a 10 count with the cover off. I have a small window fan that I set up infront of the Shoebox. I checked the pistons after 15 minutes of the fan running on them, much better. I let the Shoebox fill the Guppy to 1000psi and shut it down for the night.
It is morning now and I have resumed filling the Guppy.

I love this little machine!

Thank you guys! I will be sure to keep my eyes open while everything is on. I am hopeing the groves in the shelves will cut into the rubber feet on the Porter Cable and keep it from moving.
I have run everything dry, and so far no leaks from the PC to the SB. I can’t wait to get my order from Joe B.
I got the fill hose with a gauge on it, so that should help me keep everything safe.

Good thinking tracyp 💡

I put a couple strips of thin rubber matting under mine to keep it from doing doughnuts on the kitchen floor.

In addition the ShoeBox shakes my cart sideways. So its gonna need some innovation to keep it all together.
