Is my Crony reading right?
I have posted the speeds and power that my gun was shooting and a few folks are saying that they think my crony is off because of my numbers with my new Condor. According to the device I was got readings of 1045, 1030, 1024, 1020 fps at full power 3000 psi/using no insert in TT one piece Top Hat and Hammer Slap Mod with 43.2 gr Eunjins? Is the Crony a liar?

I have done lots of testing and the most I could get out of a AF condor valve was around 1020 fps. That was opening up the ports and putting more taper on the seal.
I did manage around 1050 fps with a highly ported Blod valve.
Then I made my valve and I haven’t shot a 43 gr EJ true it. I moved on to Jerry’s slugs.
I have 2 pro chrono’s and shoot thru both at the same time sometimes. They read no more than 5 fps difference and most of the time it is 2-3.

in late afternoon after work when I do shoot my back yard is shadey in early day time full sun.
The Crony does have issues reading in full sun a lot of error messages.

The only time I use outdoor light is in over cast conditions. Clear Sky’s doesn’t work unless you do a few things. I found a super cheap picnic table umbrella at HF and use it when shooting in the sun from my table. It blocks enough sun that I can get good readings from the sun.
and NEVER trust fluorescents! 😉
it is so ridiculous oakey that if you look at a lot of your posts on here and GTA all your concerned about and talk about is ft lbs of your gun ! talk about something new ! it is not like any other condor owner can not do the same .maybe you need to go build a camp fire in your yard and think about it . like you said your new at this eventually you will get it . MAYBE ?

I don’t like EJs as they are not pure lead IMO ❗
In my tests they appear to penetrate as far into rubber mulch 😆 as 7 Ring Black Mambas
but EJs don’t appear to deform nearly as much.
The Black Mambas really bulge out and probably deliver much more trauma. Ya, darn they cost more but are not meant for just poking holes in paper 😈

DON’T WORRY WHAT OTHERS SAY ❗
At 2900 PSI mine busts 1,015 FPS with 43gr EJs without a restrictor. That was without playing any with the Power Wheel from where Tony had it set before the new One Piece.
So, I added the large Restrictor and got them down in the low 800s.
Then removed the restrictor and found a good fill PSI of around 2700 and 960 FPS
No lighting problems as I was using a red LED light Bar setup with connecting dowels that kept the foldable Chrony fully open.
So just tell them” :9: bring your own ammo and chronograph and I’ll show you 
Some People get beer muscles I got Crony Muscles 😯 1045fps the 1st shot off a 3000 psi bottle but the number may not be real 😳
LOL I have to get some strip lights and put them on my crony filter I have been using natural sun light outside not artificial light.

BTW the gun is a shooter. 50 shots 970fps 25.4g SD 7.65 10 shot 1″ groups 75 yards.

Like I said, my Chrony results aren’t to much below oakey’s and mine is/was held open by 2 small dowels hot glued across the sky screens.
I had so much trouble getting other than error readings out doors that I put a large black trash bag over the dowels as an extended tent. It took a lot of effort to get good consistent readings from my shooting Chrony. Finally, after issues with the poorly designed printer, I just broke down and bought Competition Electronics Pro Chrono. Hey, it does 9 x 99 shot strings and remembers them when shut off . And no issues of it folding up on you. It took a bit to set up the computer interface but wow, what a read out. No squinting to see it in sun light.
