Q:

Evanix MAX Bullpup

Has anyone had a chance to shoot this gun or heard of it? Just found it while browsing online today. Would love for the Cricket or Edgun to be semi-auto or full automatic 🙂

Specs do not look to bad either and comes in 9mm

I am new to the PCP but holding off on committing to one until either the Cricket or Edgun comes out with a semi-auto. Been reading a lot and it seems like they will be releasing one in the near future. I would kick myself endlessly in the butt if I purchased a multi-shot only for the semi-auto to be released right after. I know Edgun recently released R3M so what are the chances of releasing a semi-auto the same year?

I was hoping to be tad quieter. Though, there is a definitely a difference and I still have not tested it out side yet I will see what its like out side.

Nice gun Ronin, looks even better with the moderator on 🙂 The NC LCD definitely helps the noise level compared to without it. Will you be able to shoot it with that noise level in your backyard or were you hoping for less?

Here is a my rough video if my MAX. It was my attempt for any one who wants to hear the sound difference with and without NC’s LCD on Evanix MAX set to semi-auto. You be the judge and tell me what you think.

Oh not sure if this will make a difference but, I did not have the O-ring on the LCD while shooting this vid (it fell off during pre-trial times and now its lost).

Has any one seen these markings on the screw off tips to the shroud on there Evanix or any other rifle. I have had some really bad fliers and this could be part/start of the problem.

Ok, Neil worked his magic and got it back to me ASAP. So with much enthusiasm I slapped the LCD HOPING it would fit and it did! So I proceeded with a quick indoor test with the LCD on and it seemed kind of loud. So I took it off well there is diffidently a difference and that is it is really loud without it. I will say with NC’s LCD on I noticed that the auto mechanism on the Evanix is much more noisier than I first thought and now that the crack from the barrel has been reduced. I will post a pic and vid shortly.

Talked with Neil and he said that he would fix it as soon as I get it back to him. Thats good news!

Thanks… little dyslexia

Hi brother;

1st; use free web http://www.photobucket.com upload the photo then copy the link and paste it here.

2nd; change your signature for your Edgun, change M3R to R3M.

Thanks …..

Rough measurements…

The portion that slides on is to long for my barrel…
My barrel from the end of the air reservoir is about 1 3/16″ long and the LCD is about 2 3/8″ from the end to the beginning of the threading portion. Which places the male and female thread portions 1/2″ from each other.

Sad news… LCD was to long so I could not thread it on and of course that means I cant use/test it at this time! 🙁

What do you mean by too long ? The threads ? Can you attach pictures ?

here is what I have designed & made for my Max, its very short & very effective too.

OK, Im STOKED to say my NC LCD came in! Cant wait to see how well it performs. I just need to see how it attaches. LOL It has internal threads and an O-ring… not sure if it slides on or if it screws on? I

Take the end cap off the shroud, than the ldc will slide over for a bit until you can start screwing it
