Cricket receiver disassembly and assembly videos…
Hello, I am a new member here but I have been doing a ton of reading on this site since I got my .22 Cricket a month or two ago. I bought it as a .22 standard and have since changed the barrel to the longer .25 barrel and added my own shroud for an overall length of 34″. It is shooting JSB Kings at 950 fps and is extremely accurate and quiet. I also have a regulated .22 FX Royale 400 that is an amazing shooter. I’ve really enjoyed all the information on this site and especially the videos from Ernest that have been nice to watch. When I did the .25 Cricket barrel swap I had to replace my bolt. I figured I would contribute a little to the site and make a couple of videos on how I disassembled and reassembled the receiver to change the bolt.

How much would you say this project cost? Rough estimate…
The transfer port does not need to be modified in the receiver. It is a pretty good size. The .25 barrel has a larger transfer port than the .22 barrel which allows more air through.
After applied Wurth Multi is receiver so smooooooth!!!! 100% difference between original lubing from factory. I can recommend it.
One last thing… Transfer port, did you modify this too. .??

It is a Cricket barrel and it came from Wild West Airguns.
Yesterday evening I had disassembly mechanical parts. All parts has been cleaned with break cleaner and light lube with Wurth Multi oil. Now all parts perfect slides. Today I will try how it works 😉

Did you get the barrel from TGAG/WWAG? I’m thinking of going from the 18″ 177 barrel to a 24″ 177 on my Cricket. Did you do the machining or did the supplier of the barrel?

The only other parts you need are a bolt probe and magazines.

I have Wurt Multi on my HW100 2 years and I have no any weather oscillation. In the cricket is still original lube from factory. Now I going to degrease original lube clean it and relube wtih Multi!
I am currently using a very light coat of white lithium grease on the moving parts inside the receiver. I’m glad you brought this up because cold weather is here and I’m not really sure what the best lube to use is.

Just the cost of the barrel and probe…I guess the cost depends on what your Kalibrgun dealer charges for the parts.
