I am with you Charlie, based on Ted’s review(EdgunUSA) he said he gets about 70 shots on highest power, double that on the 2nd power and maybe triple that on the lowest power.

I hope some day Bobcat has a new Walnut stock and better scope rail mount like Cricket and Edgun.
Anyone knows how many shots Bobcat.22 can get per fill? it’s accurate bullpup, can compete with Edgun and Cricket. It has better trigger design. If it has more shot count and good stock. I’m will to pay $2000+. for now, Edgun is still number one bullpup and first choice to choose.

I was afraid that would be so. Very nice knifes indeed! HereΒ΄s a link to a Finnish guy with the same profession. Some of his knifes are very nice too. http://jeknives.blogspot.se/
More like everyday knives though.

No Sir, I’m afraid not. The collectors have driven the cost and value thru the roof.

I guess low cost and workabel is what factory products are for. Sad but true.

A good hunting knife that I made 15 years ago was a hell of a fine knife. Far superior to any factory offering. I charged any where from 125.00 to 175.oo USD for them. They now bring well north of a grand between collectors now. One like the one pictured here with Ancient Ivory will bring a LOT more. 😯

I recently saw one of my Fighters sell for 11,000.00 USD. I sure as hell didn’t get that for it! πŸ˜₯ πŸ˜†

Thanks. πŸ˜€ Wish I could still make e’m. I’m having both eyes operated on this month, so may-be——. Should be able to get a Cricket or Ed For one of these. Or at least the money for one. πŸ˜‰

Whether that is expensive or reasonable I don’t know. Is a Cricket reasonable for what you get or expensive? Seems the answer to that is in the eye of the beholder to me. πŸ˜†

Beautiful. I love knives too and collect reasonably priced ones. That looks Expensive. 😯

Forum should follow function, but it can be a thing of beauty if done properly.

Take this very mundane Tool. A simple working Knife. It is a Mini Semi Skinner, disigned by the Late World Famous Knife Desiner and Master Maker Bob Loveless. And executed by with his permission, buy Yours Truely.

πŸ˜€ I showed my wife a picture of the BC a few months back and she said it is hideous. πŸ˜† That is pretty much the kiss of death at my household. She holds all of the cookies.

quote Sir Ville:

Blaah,blaah,blaaah, utΒ΄s ugly i say. Disgusting !! πŸ˜†

So very true and wise. My wife’s comments on my guns is another issue, however, and she is not afraid to lambast them in public if she thinks they are ugly (and has). Maybe I am addressing the wrong problem. 😯

quote synopsys:

What is the primary difference between the Bobcat and the Royale besides the trigger linkage (which is one of the better BP linkages to date)?

The stock…

A similar venture, the MadDog M-Rod BP conversion is much easier on the eyes. There are some features on the BC stock that I believe are key to producing the proper sight line through the scope, like the dropped butt pad. On my Ed and Cricket the butt pad is about 3″ too high, my custom fully adjustable butt pad assembly made it so these two rifles actually shoulder properly. And of course there is the complete absence of a cheek rest on the Ed and Cricket, the BC has this covered as well.

Often functionally designed stuff can be ugly… Takes time to get function and form to exist in a balanced manner. Considering the roll out of the BC i’m not so sure there was lots of time to get everything to look as good as it could.

SE, engineers often design the most ugly things anyone could conceive of, but, their “art” is not to make things look good, it’s to make them function well.
