OK, I really like wooden stocks. But I decided to upgrade my Lelya a bit… I’m even more in love now! Just check this:

Neat scope, however it does not have an adjustment for parallax. Is this a problem on close shots with the Lelya? Focus ok at close range?

Tactical landscape shot today…

I am searching of high resolution realtree 3888×2592
But no way
Piter,
I become to know that you cannot go wrong either with taking a very good picture for your lovely Lelya or choosing the right/nice stuff for your lovely Lelya again …
congrats on the new muffler/ silencer/ moderator / whatever,,,,,
Buddy, it’s supersolid! Kryptek sounds awesome, it was not available when I was ordering coating of my stock…
That is just awesome Piotr… I had been thinking about doing the same thing but was unable to find hydro dippers in my area.
Fast forward, turns out there is one about 1 hr from me working with all the sweet patterns such as Kuiu verde/vias, krypteks etc. and price is about right at 50 EUR / stock (includes sandblasting, pre-treatment, primer, pattern and matt coating).
Thinking about doing the Matador in Kryptek highlander and the Lelya in Kuiu verde…
How is it holding up by the way, does it come off easily or feel tight and solid?
Lelya moderator is bad-ass btw, congrats!

Looks even better with the silencer Piter! Thanks for the info on the scope.
Just got the silencer from Ed. Man, now it’s official – my air guns dreams came true. I don’t want anything else. This setup just ROCKS!!!

BTW, you asked about the scone – it’s quite inexpensive Bushnell AR series 1-4×24 with ballistic crosshair (http://swfa.com/Bushnell-1-4×24-AR-Optics-30mm-Rifle-Scope-P61351.aspx). Weaver mounts. Works great for my informal shooting, I can easily nail a cherry at 40 yards and a plum at 60 yards. It’s all I need. And it looks just SO GOOD on Lelya. Everytime I take my air rifle into my hands I have the biggest possible smile on my face. Just perfect match for me.
Looks great, got me wanting to have my cricket stock dipped.
At least you have first-hand testament on how good that camouflage was on the gun…..
They look GREAT!!! But I’ m tell’n ya, your gonna loose those guns in the woods!

The action is actually hydrodipped, it’s the scope and mounts that are taped. It was done by the previous owner and I scraped off some hydrodipping material from places where it shouldn’t be. You can get sheets of that camo material and with some care and the aid of hot air gun you can get quite decent results for scope and action if you don’t want to hydrodip it.

Well, yes and no. It’s a tactical scope, not a hi-mag target scope. I rarely shoot my Lelya below 25m, if so – I use it at 2x only. However for targets at above 25m I say – no problem at all! I shoot targets like paintballs, etc. with my Lelya, just for fun. If I’d be asked if it’s a good hunting scope for Lelya… yeah, it’s pretty good. Surely good enough. And, what is really important to me… it just looks so damn cool on Lelya! I enjoy using it A LOT!!!
One more?
