Bullpups and side-scopes
Hi Guys,
it’s a long time now that I’m fancying a weird idea and I would like to know if anybody has tried this before.
Considering the very particular shape of a BP, the way to hold and to aim…..
Did anybody ever try to mount the scope laterally instead of on top of the gun?
I think that mounting the scope laterally, let’s say between 60 and 90 degrees from the top, could result in a more natural way of aiming.
You guys that have the tools and the knowledge (WingM, Ride, Ernest, etc, etc,) to make this particular rail/mounts/attachment, did you ever experiment with something like this?
Maybe it’s completely wrong  but I really have the feeling that it could work out to a better aiming and shooting of a BP.
ATB 😀

STEELDREAMS !!!! :8:

Do that mounts have a name like “side-mounts” or similar? (How to google for that or where to get them?)
Thanks in advance!
great.. do I win a Cricket or something? 😆
I guess that mount above is a custom project.
But the offset picatinny mount is a flashligh/laser mount. I got it from here: http://dx.com/p/accu-20mm-aluminum-alloy-gun-barrel-laser-flashlight-mount-with-hex-wrench-black-283921
