Bullpups and side-scopes
Hi Guys,
it’s a long time now that I’m fancying a weird idea and I would like to know if anybody has tried this before.
Considering the very particular shape of a BP, the way to hold and to aim…..
Did anybody ever try to mount the scope laterally instead of on top of the gun?
I think that mounting the scope laterally, let’s say between 60 and 90 degrees from the top, could result in a more natural way of aiming.
You guys that have the tools and the knowledge (WingM, Ride, Ernest, etc, etc,) to make this particular rail/mounts/attachment, did you ever experiment with something like this?
Maybe it’s completely wrong  but I really have the feeling that it could work out to a better aiming and shooting of a BP.

It would be cheaper and easier to install a camera with tilt view finder so you can see from different angles.
or you can make something to fit one of these..http://www.amazon.com/Opteka-Professional-1X-2-5X-Viewfinder-Olympus/dp/B0017HQN6A
it may work.
