Q:

Cricket speed adjustment

I got a compact .22

was shooting 845 coming from WWAG… but i want more. I got a new HST adjuster from steve.

I got it shooting 865 with the adjuster about half sticking out. doesn’t increase speed if i turn in anymore.

where to go from here…. I would like to get it up around 910 ish. … It does hold a really nice tight spread at 865 +-3 or 4 fps.

I Never really counted how many shots a .22 mag holds LOL

this group was 14 shots a full MAG.

i Just shot this at 40 yards a full mag 12 rounds…. the squares are 1 inch

I’m leaving it to “THE MAN” … He did a nice job on that compact on the other thread.

I hate fuxing things. It’s already in route ….

Dman, not sure if you saw this post on the Yellow. Charlie commented on the aluminum HST adjuster.

Ahh now that you put it like that …. forgot bout the reg space , and the short barrel….

looks like I’m chasing a unicorn here…. Im gonna leave it where its at right now about 850 average…

Well at least i got to know my cricket a little more personal..

You COULD always add Imppu’s RAI reg spacer to achieve higher speeds if needed.
But like Octavius said – isn’t 860 enough anyway for a Compact ?

Oh – it´s a Compact … IDK if you can muster much more out of it . To get into the airtube you only need a couple of Hex keys and a screwdriver. But then again – it´s a Compact so i don´t know how much more speed there is to find – if any – without going for increased reg space or longer barrel .

Yes, he has compact. That´s why I asked if 860mps is not enough !!

Great for twelve shots. Move the center to right a bit and it is birdie ready. 😉

I get like 44 shots set at 850

Nope but see where your shot count ends up. You could need another BW in the reg.

Am i bringing unrealistic seeking 900 FPS with a compact .22 shooting 18.1s

Ok… got that sirville….

Just didn’t know where to stick that screw…. the barrel is all lined up.

I do believe the reg is around 135 bar already. cause when i leave it on the take and watch my gauge thats about where my numbers drop off.

Im pretty sure i have the heavier spring. its quiet long and hangs out the back a good 3/8″ with the HST off. I bought the HST adjuster from WWAG.

Its barely in half the adjuster is hanging out.

so i guess that leads me to the valve spring.

What do i need to check there???

You better ship it to me for further study. I may switch stocks and send you back my .22 standard. 😆

I tried bumping up the reg but I was only able to get it to shoot about 870 or so. Any more and the reg wouldnt hold…

Sometimes the regulator is missing a washer and can’t be set higher than 120bar. I had to send mine to Ernest and he Sent me one that was set to 130 bar and that was that. But when everything is said and done I’m back to 900 fps but the other regulator would only give me 870 with Jsb 18
