I enlarged my PCP collection
Just received my STD synthetic .22 Cricket. I love the touch of this stock, very soft. It also came with a numbered air gauge and synthetic cheek rest. Not wood painted black. Based on AOA’s testing, it is shooting in the low 900’s. Will probably have to adjust it down a little but I am glad that I have the option to shoot hotter if I wanted to later. I am not missing any mags, came with the fill probe and extra O-rings. Time to get it scoped!

I’d say so Larry. What was great about working with Neil is that he was willing to work with me until I got the desired sound that I wanted. The .25 R3M was spitting out a lot of air even when I turned down the fps to the low 800’s. I tried Neil’s 6 inch LDC and that barely did anything. So I asked him to make me an 8 inch one and that quieted my gun down to just hammer slap. It is a great feeling to get that power under control. With the 6 inch, I could still see a lot of muzzle blast coming out of it. With the 8 inch, nothing. He has also been improving his LDCs and shroud and I think they are great. Good looking and light. I am not going to mention the LDC that I just sold on the Yellow, it is a forbidden name on this forum. It was a very well built LDC and sturdy as hell but it added a lot of weight to an already heavy gun with scope. If you really need to quiet your gun to just hammer slap and shoot high fps I would go with an 8 inch NC LDC. He might have improved the 6 inch but if you have other guns that you want to use the LDC on, stick with the 8.

Hi Donny, I see you have cleaned house of some of your after market LDC’s. Is Neil C. the style you feel is the quietest? I have a Cricket compact in 22, seems you have been down this road, what are your conclusions.

Thanks Dave, that’s not the owner’s manual. That’s AOA’s welcome pamphlet. Over the months I’ve collected a good amount of info on the Cricket. Here are some if anyone is interested.

Am I seeing a owner’s manual?
Thanks
Dave
Congratulations on your new purchase!

I was warned early on by Uncle Hoot to never ever sent requested photos to Sir Ville. You know he has a new video camera, but never posted any air gun related videos. I wonder WHY? :suprisedn: :suprisedn:
Enjoy you new Cricket, and the shame of all the rest will be forgotten, eventually!

Hi Donny,

I didn’t want to mention any names but here’s one of them
Yes – both gauges are still around and it is just what’s available from Wika to KalibrGun at the moment.
Not all Renval, some people are getting wooden CP painted black. Also I thought they discontinued color gauges but some members received their new guns with them. So to anyone who is in the market for one, make sure you verify those two things before you buy.
