Q:

Mag indexing

My kricket was shooting just fine. Now suddenly the mag is not indexing right. I have to start to push the cocking lever back in and then move the mag back and forth until it lines up. I thought I saw something on this before but I can not find it. Any held or suggestions would be appreciated.

Sounds nice Hooter, lets have a look see at it.

:hoot:

Naturally! Now that nobody gives a gnat’s nuts!

Thank god for Baz…we’d never learn nothing…know what i mean Norman?

PS: Got my Leyla zero’d in, and it is shooting dead nuts out to 50 yards. I can’t see much further than that. I put a 3 X 9 Bugbuster on it and it is a perfect scope for that little gun. The Leyla has a one shot magazine and it is really easy to index and reload!

I know that now, now that you mentioned it.

Nonsense! Nobody’s nose knows nothing…nitwit!

I have found the problem with indexing of cricket magazines is down to the indexing cam bending upwards, when these parts are cut out with the EDM machine the cut left where the wire has gone in to cut the pin hole closes up causing the tip of the cam to move upwards, so when you cock the gun the indexing cam doesn’t move far enough down to align the next pellet, I have had 4 people come with the same fault, my solution to this problem is to put the gap so the 2 sides are parallel to each other and then fill the gap with silver solder to prevent the gap closing up again.

Hi Baz,

Nice fix !
Was this a immediate problem with them, or one that occurred over time ?
It occurred over time

How do you know that ?? Are you in-the-know of something ?? 😯

Oh boy now we have a know it all……

I don´t know. But i want to know this : Does Dimi3 know that we don´t know so he´s in the know regarding all the knowledge around the subject ??

I just want to know.

I would check first what Dimi3 wrote because there should be error when the problems suddenly occur.

Where can i find that ??

Those of us who know what Dimi3 wants us to know…know! Know this…if Dimi3 wanted you to be “in the know”, he would have known. The fact that you don’t know, is a known fact.

Know what I mean?

Dear Ballz,

I assume this is for the Cricket??? The indexing problems have been mostly directed towards the Hummingbird. It might be wise to edit your title to say “Mag Indexing Cricket” so the Cricket people are directed to your posting.

Hoot:

Ballz said “cricket”, and the OP started the post in May, before the hb, so don’t jump on his “Ballz”.
