9mm cricket
Got to shoot one today, a rather nice gun and good looking. The cocking was a bit hard when pushing in pellets but not too bad. Trigger was fine in factory settings, roughly the same as my tuned Evanix pup. Accuracy was not there but the scope mounted was about to go back to factory so that may have been the problem. Noise was not too bad either. Unfortunately we didn’t have a chrony so I can’t tell the power. Unfortunately photos I took were really bad so you’ll have to live without the eye candy.

Can you pick up those targets on Ebay??? If they are “BUTT-SHOT”, they are reactive targets, and squack when hit!!!

Containing the steel ram population is not easy, that’s why jewel shots are preferred over dick shots. As for the the claimed homo sexualism in Scandinavia, notice how 5 male rams are standing on the line looking at each other’s ass. Those steel asses are not shown, they are outside the photo area. I’ve always wondered why those rams keep asses.

Wait a dang minute!!! You Euro’s are telling me that, in Sweden and Finland, a single “Dick-Shot” doesn’t count as much as hitting 230 of them in the Jewels???
That’s pure horseshit! Why I’ve known men who blew their damn heads off, back in the mid ’60’s, if they were Dick-Shot!!! It didn’t kill them, but they didn’t want to go back to the real world without their “package” in tact!!! It was well known that a guy could lose one of his Jewels, but still manage to perform all right, even though he was firing a half load of warheads! The ballistics didn’t change, the trajectory was preset, so a bulls-eye was pretty much guaranteed, but the kill zone might be smaller. The docs told us that it was akin to a grenade with a half load of shrapnel…there was still plenty left to nail the target! And…the surgeons would pop an oval glass orb in there, and no one need be the wiser!!!
So there you have it…medical fact, versus a bunch of nonsense chatter between two Scandinavian homos!!! :butkick:

I do moving target / silhouette shooting with a RF at 35 – 50 meters range (as said MOVING targets) and those silhouettes range in size between a small Rat to a Duck. Great fun !
I´d like to test the kind of silhouette shooting you guys do out there in my native Country. Maybe i´d then understand the big bore concept.
I work a lot with swedes and I do know how it goes. Of course that’s a generalization and there are some good chaps as well.
If you pop in to your native country next year check the competition calendar at sihry site. Competitions are held in Iittala and I’ll be happy to lend you my Evanix pup if you want to knock down some rams. It’s only doing 230 joules but it does the work unless you hit them in dick 😆

Hannu posted some power figures, 150 joules with H&N Grizlys and 143 joules with JSBs. It seems that there is indeed potential to make this a 200+ joule gun that could be used in silhouette shooting.
In Finland we have a new legistlation lurking around the corner that will put big bores on license as well, thus we are now having a boom in big bore sales before the new law takes place. You should start shooting silhuettes in Sweden as well, a good reason to have bigbores and great fun. There was even some discussions about having a delegation from across the small pond to come and participate our series but that never happened.
Yep. It´s a bit ridiculous but that´s how it is. On the other hand the most powerful airguns today are potentially lethal so it´s weird those aren´t restricted all over the World – the same way the PB guns are.
Yes, I understand 😉 same here 16J… therefore I wrote “without” fire arm licence until you do not have some problem with police. The chance is immediately change the spring for “shorter” but same problem is shooting with cricket or with LR (same prison) 😆
Yes, you do in Sweden. Everything over 10 J is FAC issue.
And the same goes for many EU countries. Finland is one of the exceptions though.
And hunting with AG is also a no-no in Sweden. You can get a permit for Pesting with one but it´s not easy.
…only with cricket you do not need fire arm licence I´m just estimating…
