Q:

Questions on the Latest HBirds

So bonus time is approaching and it’s been a good year. I may have a little extra to sneak a Bird in into the arsenal if the it has matured enough by say March.

A couple of questions for those in the know…

1. Are they caught up on deliveries or is there still a significant backlog?

2. Are they still having blow back or other issues as they arrive or are the latest ones ready-to-go?

3. What calibers, colors, and lengths are now available (or in a month or so)? (I want it short and light as possible)

Thanks in advance!!! The best airgun information is available on Talonairgun. 😉

Ville I agree with you regarding the barrel length. I think the pellet can be stable with a 17 inch barrel but unless the moderator is a kick ass design the report will be sharp Just as a comparison the Edgun standard is 470mm or 18.5 and it is a little louder than the cricket whose barrel is 23.5. Oddly enough my Edgun standard is more accurate than the cricket. My concern with the Vulcan 25 would be noise not accuracy

Hey! I’ll have you know…oh wait. I agree!! Everyone knows we are stardust!

KG definitely have the means and know-how so the new batch should be trouble free.

I hope there’s something somewhere to support your optimism that Kalibrgun is improving the HB. Such a sweet gun is done a disservice with this indexing issue.

Au contraire – my optimism is gracefully damped untill i see an improvement. What i meant is that KG ( B) has the means to fix all the issues if they decide to do so.

that’s a good man. In God we (some of us) trust. All others bring DATA. :winkn:

I like that KG (B) thing you’ve got going there.

I believe two batches so far. Not heard of a third batch yet.

How many batches and H’Birds have been delivered so far?

In the meantime, I won’t be holding my breath but I will be waiting to see what happens to the Hummingbird.

When all the manufacturing of the Compact comes to a complete halt. That would be a somewhat good indicator that KG has made the Hummingbird take its long awaited and well-deserved glorified flight.

I ordered a .22. I have a wonderful .177 Compact already and i have no use for a .25 – hence i’ve sold both and will not have another. I don’t hunt with an Airgun and a .22 LR with a moderator does everything better than a .25 AG so it will be a .22 for me. Furthermore – the .25 Volcano only has a 450mm long/short Barrel which i think is too short to be effective on a .25. I may be wrong although i seldom am. 🙂

Ville what cal did you order? 177,22,25?

They’re still feeling sick after posing together with the Beluga / Catfish.

If the Swedish bikini team wants to pose with the new gun well that is ok too. I am just that kind of a guy. 😳

I will , i will !
