Daystate pup
So I’ve been hearing bout this new bullpup from daystate. Side lever, built in bubble level, and an electronic trigger system.
Any of you guys hear more? Know the size and weight of this thing?

It reminds me of a episode of Mauri Povich, where they give a fat ugly chick a makeover and try to make her look good
That pup just looks so delicate, I would be extra careful just to take it from inside the house to the bench :winkn:
PULSAR Standard Version: $2699 MSRP

PULSAR OS (Oro Serie Italian for Gold Series): $2995 MSRP

High Grade Walnut Stock

They are out of their mind. How many Steyr 5s were sold at that price? I hope they don’t have too much R&D in that gun
The Pulsar is about $100 more than the Air Wolf. I’d spend an extra $100 to get the latest generation GCU (electronics). Hell, I’ve spent more than that just on a bubble level.
Or did they mean Pecos ? I might have posted on this before , but that’s kind of on the high side of things,
Or am I just a cheap ass, I would sure love to see a test of the new and old bull pups , Hell at 1,600 bucks the Crickets pocket change ,

Keyser,
I am tapped out buying guns for a while. Even if I had heaps of cash laying about, I’d probably hold off on the Pulsar or anything else until the IWA Classics is over. Lately, I’ve been spending time shooting my new SCAR 17S at the range and have only picked up my Air Wolf once or twice since late November. Come Spring I’m sure that will change.
Coincidentally, the very first scope I bought when I got into airguns last year was the MTC Viper Connect SL. I originally had it mounted on a DayState MK4 Target and then on my .30 Baluga. Man that was a great little scope. The scope has basically zero eye relief so I shot with my eyeball up against the lens with no problems. Parallax error is a non-issue on the Viper Connect SL. It also has a stupid large field of view. As for the mounts, I used BKL 302S 30mm offset mounts which worked perfectly with the scope. It probably would have looked much better had I bought black rings instead of the silver ones you see in the pics below.
LAST WARNING…
:

As far as the industry’s reluctance to adopt Picatinny as standard, I’m afraid you are preaching to the choir amigo. I can’t stand dove tails for a variety of reasons. That’s another topic though.
Surf, you’re going to buy one? On a totally different note, I was at SHOT and I handled that gun. The positive about the Pulsar was the MTC viper Connect SL. That is a uber-cool scope, for those of you who have a Lelya on order it would be perfect on that gun. The bummer thing about the Connect is they make a special mount for it but that is only offered with the 11 mm dovetail. When are the Limeys going to realize that the picatinny rail is the best scope mount system? I gave Daystate and MTC grief about the 11 mm dovetail
Im guessing with the 22 cal w/300cc (they need a 400’ish tube)
230 @ 12 ft-bls
45 @ 30 ft-bls
No not yet Ronin. They are still testing the different maps last I heard.
Has Daystat stated what the approximate shot count would be??
That Daystate looks a bit stupid to me, the scope rail is plain unaccetable
Though I don’t feel it looks stupid, I does appear the rail is too high for da kine That’s probably why every Pulsar picture I have seen has the MTC Viper Connect SL mounted.
Yeah but this one goes to 11 :8:

I’m not a very big fan of the bullpup look, but even I know that thing is as fat as most significant others at the nm state fair. Looks very uncomfortable to hold on to.
