Q:

Single Shot Tray for R3M…???

:hoot:

There’s times when I want to shoot my .25 R3m as a single shot. However, it’s narrow magazine-friendly breech gives precious little room to drop a pellet in that barrel.

Does anyone else have such a need?

Does anyone know someone who makes such an attachment?

Can it be 3-D printed? Seems like a simple enough one piece design…

Thoughts? (Is Donnyfl smart enough to do this?)

Dear Geraraldo…You explained it just fine! If extra magazines were not so hard to get, I’d use that idea.

Meanwhile, keep your head down…I understand it can be dangerous where you live!

Kind regards,

Uncle Hoot:

Hoot,

Where Gerard lives is as peaceful as heaven just try not to focus on media especially those related to ME.
Concerning keeping heads down,
We’re the ones who quote it here when waiting for retarded lads to blow their scumheads.
cheers.

Hoot I have a idea that could perhaps help you with a single shot tray.when you pull out your mag. take a look at it. Why couldn’t you take your mag and cut just enough material out so you have a v opening in it. But be careful so you don’t cut away to much. If you’re v comes out on a pellet hole a guy could epoxy a nice smooth pocket. With the R3M you have the feature of moving your indexing lever down so it doesn’t rotate. This could cost you a $30.00 mag but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. I haven’t tried it so good luck.

That what i was talking about but i didn’t explain it very well

Not a bad idea, actually!

First, I’m going to try the Insta-morph idea.

Pricklet!

That was a very unkind comment.

Get a small container of Instamorph. Instamorph is a heavy duty plastic that turns into putty when put into boiling water. Fashion the tray by hand and eye the best you can. Put it back into the boiling water if it starts to become to hard to work with. When you think you have it close then partially warm the tray in the water and just before it gets to hard to work with press it into position for final fitting. A single edge razor can also be used to get the fit just right. Partial re heating will allow you to make final adjustments and let you smooth out rough edges… I have done this a bunch of times with great success. It may take a few tries until you get good at fashioning parts but with a little practice it becomes quite easy..

Give it a try.

PS Amazon sells Instamorph in various sizes and colors.

FACTOID: “Instamorph” is a by-product of “Hermaphrodite”. A substance discovered by a transvestite chemical engineer in Chicago in 1967.

Do you still earn royalties from this invention ?
