Q:

Vulcan .25 makeover…

I know some will say why do this to such a nice piece of wood, but I just couldn’t take it. I’ve been working on this stock for 2 days and finally after sanding and numerous coats of paint and clear she’s done. I mounted a Hawke HD 3x9x40 from a FFP 30mm tube, and man I love the way she handles. I also added some let over carbon fiber vinyl wrap for the look. I’ve got a few items to add to make official for night stalking.

ohhh saltwater, you think too much. I don’t have a vulcan too…yet, I didn’t know that “just bought” was the same thing as “I have a…”. Besides that, is there a rule for asking? Is it necessary to show a picture of the gun you are asking about? Sorry for my english, I’m not a native speaker

That’s what I was thinkin’ too Zonk! :3:

I think it looks great, It looks better than mine. I just don’t have one yet!

post your stock before painting it maybe some will swap out with you if you have nice wood. Krazy had very nice wood.

can you tell me what kind of paint did you use?

Wow he had a nicer stock then my stock.

Looking back at your original stock, it was unique and had nice wood grains. It didn’t have the glow of the promo pic I’m sure that one was enhanced via photoshop. A darker or more red stain on your original stock might have made it pop.

Hence the name airKrazy ballzy as hell to paint a walnut stock black but you know what paint sands off and it can be done over if you ever get tired of it.

Man you had one of better looking stocks.
Your stock really, had some nice grain on it, but too paint black.

I know some guys like, to customize their guns and all but.
I would say your stock was the 3rd best looking stock on a Vulcan, other that the pin up model. Before you painted it black.

It does look kool black, and you did do a good job, but their is no way I would have painted
that stock, with the nice grain that it had.
