Looks like Andy over at Yellow came up with a shroud and add on shroud for Vulcan.
Uncle Hoot did you get the email from Andy?

Just curious, whats the weight difference and is the aluminum one anodized? do we use the same internals or is it complete with internals?

The Hush shroud is a total replacement and doesn’t use any of the factory internals. The weight is identical even though it’s 3.5″ longer. The finish is a tough, durable spray on with a satin clear coat.

The MiniMod adds just 1.75 oz to the factory unit.

Ps: When did the new Vulcan shrouds arrive? Are they on the current batch, or due in the next shipment??

Ahhh perhaps you are correct! I do see the scratches and must agree with you. Maybe my Dremel would suffice.

Look at the enlarged photo. Click on it to make it a little larger and then click on it again. Should be very large then.
Just to the left of the “M” of the MTC you can see what appears as silver which I think is raw aluminum after the cut.
There are “scratches” on the mount just below the scope.
And in fact, it has a picatinny rail on top so I would bet it is this one before cutting. Not a bad plan. Wonder what tools were used to cut it fairly precise.

I don’t think it was cut down … is the MTC Connect mount te only with a skinnier ring set?

What mount is that being used in the picture? It looks like the MTC mount but looks to be secured to the rail without any adapters is that mount available in weaver/picatiny? ??? I have a Viper on its way too but ordered adapters with it.

At closer look, it appears that is a weaver offset mount and the back ring has been cut down. I think I see 1 mounting screw on the back ring.

Wondering if this would work (3 inches of extension)?

This one is cheaper and offers weaver rail on top (2 inches of extension).

These may have to be cut down too.

Ice – are you modifying these and selling them?

I thought that was syphillis ?

Dear Turdbreath…

As a former party animal…I often presented with multiple symptoms. Once I went to the doctor’s office shaking badly from the DT’s, itching from a “social body lice disorder”, and bent over because I hurt my back from practicing my disco fever dance moves!

Thus was born Twerking“! (Doc’s nurse was Black. She liked my moves!)
