Cricket Compact .177
Just in….This is a very limited Kalibr Cricket Compact .177.
Seeing how it looks with our new Aeon scope 3-18X50 with trajectory reticle…this is a killer combo. Hope you like…..I love that metallic red on the objective…Thanks, Tony

Polish the barrel. Check for clipping. Have you tried shooting without the shroud?
I wonder the same thing. Never even tried that myself.
Use bipods and a rear bag and you may be surprised 😉

Have you shot tight groups off the caldwell stand at 50 – 55 yards with a 177 airgun?
18 mm.. Inches 0.705
I understood that much. Just don’t know the real diam of a Dime. We have no such coins here 😉

Shot these two groups off Lead Sled.
10 Grain JSB Exact…
Rifle will be at http://www.talontune.com soon
Thanks, Tony
The photos that were posted to show accuracy at 55 yards is the dime I am referring to.
What exactly is the size of the “Dime” anyway ?

Nothing weird or fakish to me on that photo. My Compact shot like a Laser at 50m / 55 yrds.

Are sub dime groups at 55 yards with a Cricket 177 possible, definitely I have posted some on you-tube. Whats not possible is two sub dime groups in swirling winds with a bran new 177 Cricket at 55 yds. Takes time for a Cricket to break in and for the regulator to be consistent.
With a little luck one sub dime just maybe and that would be with an exceptional barrel. “Swirling winds” two sub dime groups would be like hitting lotto.
Just saw this thread. What’s so weird about Tonys pics ?? Unbelievable ?? What is ? The group sizing or the size of the Dime ??

As far as I remember Tony test shoots in a indoor outdoor range.
Mean indoor enclosed 20 yards out to 35 yards outdoor = 55 yards ?
Some of us don’t have all the luxury of an long range setup, like myself too I make do with what I have to work with at home.
Also ……….. have a bit of respect for the owner of TAG forum, Tony is a straight up guy and keeps it free for all of us A-holes.

Tsakula think you can duplicate the sub dime groups at 55 yards Tony posted above in a bit of swirling wind? :confusedn: :confusedn: :confusedn:
Tsakula what kind of groups are you getting at 55 yards? Anything close to Tony’s sub dime groups in swirling winds?
Tsakula have you tried shooting groups at 55 yards?
+ 1 for Imppu/Dase degasser. No need to fuck around with that tiny oem bleed screw.

can you please tell me what do you mean? thanks
The factory AT bleed out has been known to leak from repeated use.
A lot of owners have been changing out the factory one with a nylon tip hex screw.

You need to replace and remove the little ball bearing also with the hex and just use the nylon tip one above.
Some also found that using/cutting a small piece of 3mm O-ring about 1mm in length in front of the ball bearing also work as a dirty fix.
But to be honest with you I never emptied my AT from the factory bleed out on both of my Crickets.
I purchase a HST that came with a degasser …… or make one.

with my hw100 i made super nice groups even on 90 yards.
and my 22lr rifle too. and my mrod made super groups. bu not this one. i tried everything. cleaned barrel and made it shine. but nothing helped. flyers stayed there. i played with speeds too but no help.
22LR is a different animal,as is a HW , compared to a .177 Bullpup.
