The Athlon argos 6-24-50 scope is way cool,
The gun, This is no shi t I am stacking JSB 25 gr pellets at 38 yards
I spent all day long setting this gun up and quality leaks every where with this gun.
I needed a 9 volt battery to do any chrono testing and I dam sure was not going to put every thing up and run to the store.
Tony sent me a slip showing me its right on the edge of 900FPS with 18 gr pellets,
The damage it did to two sparrows and one Euro dove was devastating ,
I think the 25 shorty Veteran Mutant with its POWER and its shot count is in a class of its own.
Now If I could just figure out how to post pictures , as photo bucket as pretty well crashed.

I am limited at my house to 38 and 49 yard shots, Now there is a few places if the bird is just right I can take some 80 and 90 yard shots.
Its towards a pasture, I have shot some pretty tight groups at 25 yards , Quarter size with a Crossman 760 , Not bad for a 35 dollar smooth bore pump gun.
I have taken the Cricket 25 to the deer cabin and shot at 120 yards, No one hole groups but pretty tight.
Birdman if you can shoot consistently at 197 yards , Your a better shot than me.
What caliber Vulcan you shooting?

Well 197 yards is a long distance for an airgun ….
If you can do this consistently then probably you should do competitions.
Speaking airguns, personally I shot short bullpubs at short distances (max 70-80 meters), for longer distances i prefer a carbine or rifle (or eventually a long bullpub but honestly I’m not a fan of long bullpubs).

Most my pest birds do not care what kind of scope I shoot them with,
