HELP! (agian)
I do not know what i did this time, but after i took my air tank off the AF pump and screwed it into my gun, i went to take it out for some shooting. the first thing i relized was the breech would not close properly like it normaly would. it required a little more force. then after that i shot the gun and the pellet did not even reach the target( 44m away) , it hit the ground in front of it. is it possible that i “bent” the end of the air tank? what i did notice when i was pumping the tank up is that if i left it stationary, the PSI in the valve between ther air tank and the pump droped slowley, but steadely. is that supposed to happen?

Cock the rifle and leave the breech slide open, then screw in your tank.
Does the tank feel secure and tight or does it have a slight wobble.
If so your frame tank collar might have come loose.
in the early days of mine I was pumping away and somehow knocked the pump and tank over and the stem got bent ever so slightly, it still moved in and out just fine but it would catch just a bit on the breech. I called up A/F and told them the hole story and that it was my fault, the nice lady on the other end of the phone just said ” empty it and send it in, well have it back to you in a week”
also check that dam collar pablouk is talking about, they get loose and canted in the frame witch will do the same thing

Had the same problem myself!!!
Check that the collar that the bottle screws into is still in place. Being out of whack by just 1mm caused a dramatic drop in power on my gun as the breech was not sitting true on the top hat, thus not transfering all the hammer strike.
im at a loss, any other help guys?
make sure the top hat grub screws are tight – not over tight – make sure the barrel screws are snugged up – refill the tank to about 2500-2700 psi and lube the breech seals and recheck- -be careful see ya.

the barrel has not been out of the gun but i will give it a try
It’ll still slide smooth, but make sure there isn’t any “side-to-side” play of the breech ride on the barrel.
no side to side play, the breech needs to be push up slightly to fit over the stem
has the barrel been out of the gun — make sure it lined up correctly– loosen the barrel bushing screws all 4 of them- if there are 4- with no bottle on the gun and the not cocked- snugg the bottoms then the sides then the bottoms once again- then re-check….

push the top hat down if it goes up and down smoothly then that is fine if it doesnt move then you probably bent it

press the valve in and out – make sure the top hat is secure and try turning the tophat/valve stem — does it seem bent—- did you over fill the bottle- when it was full..?
ok the tank is empty, now what? -from the looks of it i cant tell if the stem is bent or not
