Need tips on bottle collar removal
I got a custom breach, and it’s not working properly, and I’m just trying to get it out. It refuses to get past the sear and come out the front, yes, I’ve depressed the trigger and safety at the same time, bouncing the gun up and down, no luck, I tried it many times. I’ve never had to take a breach out the back, but it looks as though I may have no choice. Is there a way to do this without having trigger parts and springs popping out all over? I would like to know what I’m in for if I take this route, any tips /step by step greatly appreciated.

The safety has to be removed to mod the trigger, right?

OK, you guys are going to want to kill me, especially you YN. After getting replys from you guys, I went back to the gun, rather frustrated, (as I always get when something isn’t going right with my gun) took my finger, and gave it one last push, I tried the finger thing more than once earlier, only this time a bit harder. I really don’t like forcing things like this, but I was getting a bit pissed, and POP, the breach flew right out of the frame on to the concrete ground of the patio. Ouch.
Put everything back together in minutes with stock breach.
I will bookmark this page because at some point I will want to get into the trigger section, and this info will help me. Then I will know the bottom half of the gun like I know the top half, so the reply’s here are not in vain lol. But as usual, you guys came to the rescue and I appreciate it as always, thx!
My trigger isn’t bad at all. Either, I don’t know what the hell I’m talking about or someone tinkered with it before I bought it. I’ve never looked.

Might as well do the trigger mod when you have everything taken apart, best mod I have done to my rifle.
remove the trigger shoe first. then front triggerguard screw. take note of the spring under the safety (near the front) when removing the trigger guard. it lies flat in the safety sear and will fall out easily.
While holding the bottom plate against the frame, remove the grip screw.
Let the plate up slowly and you will see where each spring is located (there are slots/recesses in the frame where each is located so easy to note and put back in the same place.
not a lot of tension on any of them. Just go slowly.

Hold the gun upside down when u remove the screw and take off the plate and they will stay in place – Make sure to remember where they came from for when it comes to putting them back.
They are not under much tension so they wont go flying around if you do the above, but they will fall out if the plate is removed with the gun tilted or the right way up.
OK guys I’ll try that, just one more thing, (for now anyways) when taking the trigger plate off, will springs want to pop right out, or will everything still remained contained inside. Any surprises?
I could do what YN said, pop the spring out of there without taking the pins out, very easy to do.
The hole through the middle shouldnt affect this if the barrel isnt installed.
As I mentioned… I’ve had the breech stick a bit on a few guns i’ve worked on – Bouncing isnt enough. So long as the breech moves freely up and down the frame otherwise (not including the point it gets stuck and the barrel alignment issue) then it should come right out with a bit of help from a dowel or a well placed finger with the trigger pulled.
So…. if a finger it doesnt work – Remove the trigger cover, there are only a couple of springs to worry about and that will let the sear drop down out of the way – If the sear doesnt just drop down, pull it down from underneath the gun – make sure the breech isnt interefering with the sear moving down when you do this as the breech might have a burr or something so if you have the breech jammed agaisnt the sear that might stop it moving downward.
If that doesnt work.. Speak to the guy who sold you the breech.
When pushing the breach forward to cock the gun, the breach doesn’t go in straight and true, it tilts down a bit, so the the barrel end gets hung up on the aft o ring. The ID of breach doesn’t line up with the barrel because of this. I have to push down on the back end of the breach as I’m cocking to line it up so it cocks all the way. Anyways, I just want it out of there. Can’t put gun back together until it’s out.
