zeroing= hair loss!!
Well good evening(depending on your time zone??)
Im from the uk so please dont hold that agasnt me! i,ve just got my first Storm, i beleive its the same as the Talon 18″. my headache is this. i cant not for love nor money get my rifle to zero.
So far i,ve fully stripped it and corrected some minor finish issues, cleaned and fully relubed, rebult and made sure everything is tight and as it should be. now it,ll give me lovely groups @40 yards however after five shoots or so the POI will change and start grouping there. I,m pulling my hair out at the moment so any help you guys can give would be fantastic.

Hi guys, sorry i haven,t posted in a while(been trying to regrow some hair!) After everything else failed i when and some modded parts, O-ring on valve stem mod, Hybred hammer, better spring, and better tophat Slightly longer and rounded tip. so far the results are promising but cant give a definitive answer yet as i,ve broken the valve on my pump 🙁 . so fingres crossed.

Beeman do not make anything, they just put their lable on others peoples products and the same goes for Bisley
As for all the beeman and bisley pellets H&N make them.
H&N agreed to let Beeman make their pellets under licence. Dont seem to be able to get the kodiaks here in .22 . Nearest to it is, as Wok says, the Bisley Mag. Same shape,same depth of hole inside, almost same weight, same everything really. Fly real nice, though it would be nice to do a back to back test of them.
Quite a drive from me then… Horsham westsussex (might get some stick for that, 200 aint even a short road trip for them the other side of the pond ;O)).

HI there, i,m now compltely bald?
so far i,ve tried every thing you guy,s have suggested even clamped it in a work mate and still did the same thing, thought i cracked it on christmas day when i changed ammo, fantastic groups @50 yards all sub 1″ with 5 per group. took it out today and right back to the start and now i,ve snapped the adaptor on my pump 🙁 . only thing left to try is the O-rings, which i,m to find monday. if all else fails i,ll something pretty to look at!! well thanks again for all your help so far, I,ll keep posted.

Hello fella, I am from your side of the pond and had a problem not too different from yours only it took about 25-30 shots until the bottle dumped all the air from the bottle. The point of impact was changing quite quickly during these shots.
I did the same things that you have done, stripping the rifle then re building it and then tried again only to have the same problem.
I went out and brought a second hand bottle with the top hat and o ring mod and was then shooting on target with every shot for well over 50 shots.

I’d try checking the barrel for any burrs, especially at the crown end. My Talon SS will do what you’re saying, group nice for a few shots, then group nice (but somewhere else) for a few shots.
I’m fairly sure it’s lead fouling at the muzzle causing it. I’ll shoot a pellet backwards to “scrape” the lead out of the barrel, and the POI will return to where it should be, for several more shots that is. Then it does the same again. I usually shoot unlubed JSB Exacts. Maybe lube would help? Maybe many more shots will help stop the fouling?

Been doing quite a bit of reading and read somewhere that if your top hat
is too close to 0 the hammer can make the valve slap and this can change the POI as it hits before the pellet has left the barrel.
How far out is your Top hat?
Actually looking at that site. I believe Kodiaks are the Baracuda pellets not Bisley.
The baracuda pellets were made real heavy for a HW gun that used ether in combination with a springer for high velocity. 😀

Beeman just usually slaps there name on a product. Guns and pellets were relabeled with their name.
