I Fricking hate Pyramyd AIR
Ok, I made the decision to order a Condor today. I called Pyramyd Air, spoke with Justin, and asked right off the bat, “CAN YOU STILL SHIP TODAY”? His answer was yes, but, he mumbled something about “noon” but he would make it happen. Fine, done.
I just on a whim called back and gave customer service my order number and they told me it was NOT shipping till Monday. Now I am pissed so I ask for Justin and tell him I want to cancel the order because I was told it would ship today. Fucker put me on hold for 10 minutes so I called back , told my story to someone else and got the order canceled.
Then I got an email that said this:
Please forgive me for your last attempt to place an order with us. For the problems I caused you, please give me a call back anytime to redeem a 10% discount on your next order. This is redeemable for anything on our site except for Air Force, Air Arms, and/or Benjamin Discovery.
Notice the first item listed is AIRFORCE!!!
Screw them, Where are you guys ordering from? For me it wont be Pyramyd anymore!!!

The troubles start at the manufacturer Airforce is sending out the seconds hoping that the stuff sells and I bet some does.
anyone that is willing to lie to a customer should get their stuff back.
Vote with your dollars and buy from righteous dealers that won’t accept second rate stuff from Airforce.

My PM sales assistant said the shipment would be listed same day. Nevertheless, my Condor order has sat since this past Thursday (Jan 8th) in status=’Ready to be shipped’. 😕
I called today to inquire as to the lack of status change (fearing a problem with the order…) and was told that AF mandates PA techs open and review ALL AF items prior to shipment. According to the young lady I spoke with, the techs weren’t scheduled to work my order until tomorrow; it will ship then.
Looks like PM anticipates at least a 3 day order run period given the “AF mandate”.
While I wait with bated breath (and itchy trigger finger…) 😉
I haven’t had any trouble, but then again, I’m not in a hurry, these are just pellet guns and such.
I think you should give pyramydair a break.
PA took a career back that I didn’t like with no questions asked.
Ive always got great service from PA. Have ordered almost all my stuff from them-ship time was always reasonable. When I ordered my SS- pump and all-placed the order sunday online-had it all on wednesday. Order directly from airforce…

Agreed on the pellets, and I’m only a couple hundred miles the other direction. So yeah once they ship – it’s 2 days to me.
Lesson learned, I didn’t realize my first order fo upwards of $900 wouldn’t be enough of a priority to not sit in “ready” status for 3 days. 😕 That surprised me but everything else has been reasonably good. They even sent me the wrong pistol last month, I called – she said “hurry up and take the fed ex return label that I’m sending and get the box to a fed ex store. Once they log it in, I’ll be able to see it and I can ship your replacement” I did and had the correct product the next day. Did they screw up – yep, but I can’t complain about the fix.
Depending on what I ordered and how fast I needed it, many times I’ve ponied up the extra five bucks for their “priority handling”… it moves your order to the front of the line, for either same day or next day fulfillment and ship-out, depending on how late in the day you order.
Pellets? I can wait ’til they get around to it. A new Talon? Better believe that I’m spending the extra five bucks. 😉
I guess living in Michigan has some type of upside though… since I’m only a few hundred miles away from PA, I can do Ground Shipping and it gets here in two days.

As for PA, I was pissed when the order for my talon sat as ‘ready for shipping’ for 3 days. But you know what – not that big a deal. Being told one thing and not having it happen is a bigger deal. That would have bothered me more. I’ve had to call on missing items, return things (wrong products and broken items) and haven’t had anything but helpful people on the phone. If I had gotten shit on the phone I’d probably have a different opinion but so far they’ve made good on my issues within a reasonable time without giving my a hard time.
Whenever I order from PA, I just expect it to be here “whenever”.
I just hate my locale for shipping though. Every damn thing shipped via Fedex or UPS first goes to Portland OR, then the next day it somes the 110 miles East to me. Chaps my butt when I order from Minnesota or Ohio, and it goes to Portland for a day, then back to the delivery center in The Dalles. Pisses me off when it hits Portland on Fridays.
Try Midway USA…those guys rock never had an order with them that didn’t ship day ordered or first thing next morning if in stock. I ordered a 10/22 stock and bull barrel from them at 11:00am Tuesday morning it was at my door Thursday afternoon. They work hard to make sure you’re satisfied…they understand that you can and will go elsewhere if not happy.
I ordered s a large order of pellets a while back, one item was backordered when i got my confirmation. I checked the”send out the order as it is available and i’ll pay the extra shipping costs” box. 6 weeks later i get my entire order all at once. I was not charged any extra shipping, but why even make it a choice if they are not going to follow it? 6 weeks is a long time to wait let me tell ya. I was lookin for good sized rocks to try by the time they showed up, rationing pellets is no fun, order well in advance. Can’t beat their prices if you order a bunch at a time though.
