I use a heavy paper towel and some rubbing alcohol… place pellets on a towel well dampened with alchol, lift towel at 4 corners, elevate one side and then the other to roll pellets back and forth..it is really hard to believe how dirty cp’s can be..After that i apply a shot of slick 50 in the same manner or krytex wax lubricant…with the krytex i have a old jsb tin with the foam in the bottom..i wet the foam with krytex add pellets,close the lid and gently shake them around..this puts a even coat on and does not affect the individual weight enough for my scales to show a difference.
Here’s a suggestion. Take a 16 Oz. empty water bottle like what you would get from costco. Dump a tin of pellets in it with 3 or 4 Oz. of mild (simple green is what another member uses) cleaner. Squeeze the bottle just a little bit and while holding it like that, put the cap on. You want it to be in a mild state of vacuum. Then toss it into the washing machine. I admit I haven’t tried it, but I see no reason it wouldn’t work. Do you?

To clean pellets I put them in a bowl and fill with hot water and dish soap like Dawn. I let them sit a bit and swirl now and again. When the suds have gone down and you can see the dirt and crap on the bottom of the bowl I dump out the water and start rinsing with clean cool water. Once rinsed I lay them on a paper towel and roll back and fourth to dry them.
Once dried I give them one shot of Break Free and put them away. 😀
C’mon adam, people want to know how you clean your pellets. Is it a gentle hand scrubbin, or do ya get rough with em? Personally i try to talk my wife into washin mine for me whenever i can. She get’s em real clean, and just a drop or two of lube in the right spot. 😀 😀

That is probably wear so much inconsistency comes from for most people.
With clean pellets like kodiaks I don’t put anything on them. But CP’s can be dirty and once cleaned need a bit of lube to prevent oxidation. After cleaning I put them in the box and give it one shot of Break Free and then close the box or tin and roll it around a bit to distribute the lube. It does keep the barrel rather clean and it is more about maintenance then searching to improve upon accuracy.
I gave up on lubing pellets.
Always ended up using too much and I never saw any improvements, usually groups got worse if anything.
I just shot some pells that were pre-lubed and the lube seemed to toss the rest of my good shooting pellets off course.
Went from one-hole to many holes.
Gonna pull a patch thru and shoot again tomorrow.

It is good to see some folks do get emotional when it comes to their pellets 😆
If slick 50 works for some people good from them it is only absurd if it did not work for you and you kept using it.
I wash my CP’s and give them one shot of Breakfree in the tin. I have many thousand shots through each of my airguns and have never needed to clean the barrel. I do not even own a cleaning kit. I am still waiting for accuracy from shooting pellets to decrease, but it has not happened yet.

When I use lube, I used the foam sheet that the CP’s come with cut into small cubes and put about five of them into a large pill container with a shot of Beeman MP-5
