He offered me the rifle, and I asked him to pick someone else.
His reply to that was, he has made his choice and it will be there if I change my mind. He has done all he can here.
I dunno, if I accept the rifle the first thing I would do with it is put it in the recycle bin. Maybe make a nice fun contest out of it.
Only problem is, I dont want to mess with it.
So… my final words typed on this matter go to Kevin.
Kevin, I do not want this rifle but there might be a few members here who would accept it. Even though they ripped you a second and third asshole with their stories (me included), it was YOU who threw the first punch when you tried to call out Adam. When Adam said the issue was resolved, I expected it to be over.
But then YOU made the offer of the rifle package as a peace offering or whatever. Even if the “contest” didnt go the way you planned, you should feel obligated to go thru with it. Was it not your intention to “Make it good” with the members of TAG?
So pick a winner, but dont pick me just because I tried to call off the wolves and youre grateful. I wasnt trying to win the damn thing anyway, I just thought perspectives were getting a little off course and something needed to be said.
Make it good Kevin, make a choice. Give the rifle away to someone and possibly save a shot or two of your dignity, or just go away and lose it all.
Finally, please do not feel betrayed by this public refusal.
