Regulated HPA Tanks, Deciding what output pressure??
After finding out It’s best to buy the reg set up ready for the output you want I’m looking to buy another reg and may aswell get another bottle while I’m at It.
ExpertHPA prices look very good and they offer a veriety of high output pressures and to configer your own output pressure for an extra $10 so If I was ordering off there how do I know what output to get? I’m running the stock 12″ barrel with a rewroked valve and usually shoot 16 gr pellets. I know I can always empty all the air out the reg. I’ve got a 3mm bored stem that I can use, can add packing to the spring etc but I’m stumped on the output pressures of the regs? 😆

It is too bad that a fellas rep is tarnished by a misdiagnosis and then the stigma continues still.

Kinda like a false statement is the news everyone remembers and the retraction/correction is hidden on page 50 deep in the classifieds…

I was wrong about the JDSairman regulators..They are the best in the world..I’ll post it in the news paper tomorrow on the front page….
John DiStefano sells the most accurate regulators for airguns any where in the world….
Hard to overcome that first erroneous information eh? JDS ends up with a bad name almost over a non issue. Perhaps that is the reason he was a bit ‘testy’???

Yea well after repeated emails trying to get in touch with John, I
called him to discuss a bleeding up problem and got the
same nonsense everyone else is getting….He knows nothing
about airguns or regulating them but sells a regulator that is claimed
to be perfect for an airgun….Well in fact it is but he has no idea
whether it works or not…He has nothing to test it with therefore no
facts to back up his claims..It was at that point that I lost all faith in
his word….I have since apologized and posted as many times as
possible how well it works with facts to back it up…..All I can say is
if nothing else everyone should learn a lesson from ole John on how
not to treat your customers and to have some experience with
your product before you start spouting claims you can’t backup….
Also, if you have a problem, don’t jump the gun if there are
multiple factors to consider. 😳 😳

Now that I think about it, I recall calling him once and trying to talk with him. I’ve had better conversations with my dog. In my business attitude towards the customer is very important, I suppose this rings true in any business. We had an artist who was simply phenomenal, but he was militant and belligerent to anyone who walked in the door. Needless to say, he had to be let go.
Even when I have the worst backache, headache, etc. I put on my game face when a customer walks through the door, or when I answer the phone for that matter.

Nope…I pulled it apart and sprayed it with silicon. Seemed to tighten
up the SD, then I double checked the AF adapter and it was screwing
up on me….I spent a few months screwing around with the reg
and adapter and finally narrowed down the culprit..It was the adapter
air valve spring retainer nut backing itself off…..I fixed that and
ordered 2 more JDSairman regs at different outputs so I could
reverse engineer the washer arrangment to experiment with different
psi outputs…Reg seems to be good to go…..Last string was approx 5
SD @ 850 FPS and 150 shots with a 68cu in tank….

The OP was searching for something to use with his 12″? I don’t think we will see those numbers 😯

I have just remembered my mate is going on holiday this week. i will try and meet him before he leaves. he now has the 65g hybrid hammer and medium spring drum sells.
