I have an extra guage off an Airforce hand pump you can have, if you do not have any luck getting one.
I looked at the 4 sale post and I believe it is the same connection.

Once I got it I put it in a drawer and left it there until you posted a need for one….
Sorry it didn’t work…..Let me know how much the gauge cost..I’ll make it right…

A 3000 psi scuba tank should be hot filled to 3300 psi. When they cool they cool to about 3000 psi, usually mine cools to 2800 or 2900 actually. I get alot of 2600 fills
Wow, just read the post vhag….I guess I should have tested it before I sold it…I never put it on a SCUBA tank…I bought it from here

oops just find out the gauge on the scuba clamp doesn’t work the hand pump actually goes to 200 bar so ill call af to see if i can get a gauge
thank you
If you know anyone that scuba dives, have them put their scuba gauge on your tank to double check fill pressure. The 800cc tank will cut the number of fills you get from your scuba tank but should not make any other difference.
also my gun tank is 800 cc compared to the 490cc of the regular af tanks
probably i need a different scuba tank
Take your guages to a shop that does hydraulics or instrumentation to compare them to a master guage.
The scuba shops guage might be toast as well esp if they ever ‘stretched it’ see if they zero that guage and perhaps it reads high at zero.
Good luck
Walter….
If the hand pump shows 2000psi as well, then I think your problem lies at the scuba tank. Either they didn’t fill it all the way, or it’s not a true 3000psi tank.
after i put the gun tank on the hand pump it shows 150 bar 2000 psi so the gauge is good maybe the tank needs to be bigger or have more psi, i was thinking on give a break to the hand pump, now looks like break is over,
OK, the bad gauge idea is more likely anyway IMO. Again, as a test shoot the gun and watch the MV changes.
If you open the valve a bit more (say a quarter turn) after the pressure shows 2000 and it doesn’t go up I’d swap out the gauge if I didn’t have a chrono around.
Good luck.

i buy the tank and had the hydro and fill, the tank is 80 cu and after i try to fill the af tank i went back to the place to fill it out again, the guy toll me was little over 3000 psi thats why i wrote here

Speaking of hot fills, what’s the general concensus on how long a hot fill takes to cool?
