Ok so Pyramid Air sucks on sending out your order. I will never order from them again, not only did they charge my card twice, once because I asked to upgrade the shipping. So I asked for next day delivery on Monday. It was after noon so they told me it would ship out on Tuesday. Well I call today and its still has not shipped out. WTF does next day air do, other than charge you more money for extremely shitty service.
I called three times to ensure my order was going out on tuesday, thus having to take off today so I could sighn for my order. This sucks and I hate shitty service. If they had told me it was not going out on tuesday after I had called and got ensured that it would ship out..
I am extremely pissed. I now have to take another day off so I can sign form my order. I will never do business with them again.

How important is it to have the ends of the springs ground down? Can I accomplish this with a rotory tool?

you can also use springs, there is a post somewhere on here with a tutorial
and pics, also I believe 1/4″ fender washers are 1″ OD.
It definitely helps, nothing like a GTBJ shroud.

Ya the SS is definately not discreet, will have to mad this puppy out to get some queitness out of her.
Over all, pleased with the gun. I had to go buy a Scuba tank, because nobody could fill my tank. I recieved the gun today at 6 am and did not get the first shot off until about 2 pm. I was running my wife around, she tore her miniscus, so we were doing the MRI thing all day.
you can always fill the frame with some 3/16 x 1 inch washers, o rings and 3/4 inch copper tubing to help a bit as well, something like this just with the right sized washers and sandwich the o rings in between two washers.
Well GTBJ i did get the SS in .177 I figured that would be quiet enough till the shroud comes for the 18″ .22

That sucks snow! but on the other hand you could look at it like they are just looking out for you as they don’t want you shooting that loud assed thing in your complex and drawing undo attention ’till that brown truck pays you a visit on Monday afternoon 😉
I guess I’m just one of the lucky ones, I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience with them, and if I have it was so miner that I can’t remember it and I never pay the 5 dollar bribe.

Your one of a few, by my experience, someone in control of the shipping is a freckin loser.
Every time I order, doesn’t get processed for at least 3 days.
They think they have a monopoly, and treat their customers accordingly 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄 🙄

Thus far I have ordered three times from them and had very good service. One of my orders was an evanix ar 6 hunting pistol. It sat around for many weeks until I finally had Tim at Mac 1 (Great guy and great service by the way!) hook me up with some quick connects, etc. I fired it, then put it away for a few more weeks. When I retrieved it, it was completely empty. I called and talked with a woman who said, “it was only under warranty for one month”. I told her in a nice way that I have been doing business with them, and I would love to continue doing business with them…so if they would be kind enough to fix it so I could avoid having to deal with Korea…They approved and I sent it back. I called a week later (this was during their recent move, mind you), and asked if they have received and or fixed it. Boris (their technician) called me back and told me he replaced all the seals and he has it charged up and is waiting to see if it holds the charge. Thus far, I can only say good things about them, so as in all other aspects of life: Everything is relative.
PA has f’d up a couple of my orders but I actually had a good experience last week. Ordered some stuff ( just about $800 worth – gun, scope, rings pellets…) Some of the pellets were backordered and the gun was ‘limited supply’ so I called to cancel the out of stock pellets. Didn’t want to chance the rifle going on backorder. She offered to split the order. I said no, I’ll wait and order the pellets when I have enough to get the 4/3 deal and free shipping. She just waived the shipping on the pellets and adjusted something so the total price of the split order was the same as when it was a single order. This was after their pre-move shipping cut off of noon Tues and I still got the main order on friday…. I think it’s all about who answers the phone.
