groupings
first off i got some nice free targets to print from http://www.uspalma.com now for my question i cant get my condor to group for shit 😥 . im shooting preimeres with pw turned as low as it can be turned from a card table with my bipod at about 35yds flier every third or fourth shot off by over inch inch and a half. im assuming its due to the light weight. i have some eun jin 28 gr. in the mail and im hoping this will remedy my situation as i purchased this from all the great accuracy reviews i had seen. dont have a chrony and only pressure gage is the one on my pump. usually fill to 27-2900psi. any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated as u all sound very knowledgeable in the intricasies of these rifles. thanx in advance and happy shooting ken

sited my scope in every 5 yds from 20-65, then 70, 80, and 90 at
10x, 20x, and 32x…Now I know exacty what dot to use with
what mag…A little over kill but a fun afternoon of shooting…
Chairgun can help you figure out all kinds of stuff even though
it is not exactly correct..Has saved me a lot of time and money..It
will even give you the maximum yardage of your pellet when shot at
the ultimate angle at what ever FPS you are shooting….
I did that, so I could make my own turret-label. It worked well enough that I was able to do a couple of rabbits at 90+ yards just by dialling it in.
Now I have a Hawke scope I’m using the reticule with the PC software to use hold-overs. I’m sure they’ll be slightly out, but with practice I should get them rabbit-right eventually.

I’m sure many of you know this, however In Hawke Chairgun pro, you can adjust the MAG “power of your scope” and it will show you when your mil-dots will be in the usable range for longer distances. That way you can quickly figure out the highest Mag for using your Mil-dots. Example 100 yards on mag 10 may be mil-dot 6.5 for POI, and at 120 yards you may have to use mag 8 for mil-dot 6.5 at POI. I hope I explained that well enough.
AWS…Try lowering the power on your scope next time at 100yds….
You will be able to get the target into the mildot range….You can
even lower it to say 10X then move it up and down to get the
100yds right on a mil-dot without ever touching the turrets or
changing the 30yds zero……Then you will know where to aim
for the next time…
MAM is on the money with this one. I sight in at 45-50 yards. with kod’s. At 14x I am on mil 4. At 10x it is mil 3 at 100 yards.

I understand on the regulated tanks and you can shoot allot of pellets for sure so just having more fun that’s all a good thing!! Well thanks for explaining that to me it is very interesting to see all of the different things going on with these Airforce Rifles and like you I love to shoot paper always did, I shot 22 matches years ago even won some also used peep sights they are deadly on targets but like I said years ago my eyes acctually worked well now it takes clear optics but hey I am glad for that for sure. Man if I were you I would keep the Talon tank….It makes a
great plinking tank that gives you less power but way more shots
than the Condor when power is not necessary….I have both…..
You would need to reset your scope for the Talon tank but once you
have it done you can always just turn the elevation turrets as per
the tank you are using….

Hey and we talked a while back on power wheel settings, I tried it
turned all the way down and fps were at 1030 shot some groups did
good when it was at 1000fps high and about 980 or so on the low end
1/2 groups were just real consistent like you said you were shooting,
and if I remember right got about 30 shots off on a 2400 fill so things
are looking good! Also I was using Beeman Kodiaks the Condor
really does like them I am going to order some of the 28.1 gr
pellets tried to get some from Pyramid Air they had them but I
figured while I was ordering I would get some more Kodiaks came
back after ordering on the internet out of stock back order so I
called and canceled the order. I will look else where, well I have
babbled on enough once again good shooting I like your Condor set
up what is that red showing not to far from your trigger different
safety set up just curious also like your grips where did you get
them from thanks Eddie

The advantage to the setup is that the regulator output is always
the same as long as the tank psi is greater than the regulator output….
If my regulator output is set at 2,000psi, it will shoot that everytime
until the tank falls below 2,000psi…..It keeps me from having to
adjust for the bell curve that I get with the AF tank….It is working well
so far….I can also fill this tank to 4,500psi which gives me a lot
higher shot count…..
30 shots in a 1/2″ group is great…Write that setup
down somewhere and try some other pellets, fill pressures, and PW settings
just to see what happens…I am always searching with accuracy as
#1 priority and power #2….
Ya have to have a lot of patients when you are trying to shoot
Kodiaks and heavier pellets..They are hard to come by…..I try to stay
a month ahead on pellets but, I Have a fear of running out of pellets….
I think it is called Runningouttaammoitis.lol….The little red thing
behind my trigger is a poor mans WOK AR15 adapter….It is actually
a large red wire nut.. Works great but I evidentally need to camoflauge
it better….
This is where I got the grip….It needs some major trimming to fit
so think twice before you try to do what I did…You might talk
to WalkonKing and see if his adapter will work with this
one…..

also when i got my condor everything i filled one bottle and put it on my gun filled the other and put it in a drawer in my garage and didnt give it much thought. got to the range and started rotating bottles and noticed one top hat is substantially larger than the other. think i got one condor bottle and one talon bottle. who should i call about this airforce arms or pyramydair. once again thanx for all your help, you guys are awesome ken
did some 100yd shooting today. left stock airforce 4-16×50 scope sighted in at 30 yds alone. shot 1/2 inh groups at 50yds 😀 . i was pretty pleased. turned p/w up to 10/10 moved target to 100yds. POI dropped about 16 inches. way passed all of my mill dots. had to have the bullseye 1/8 of an inch into big bar of crosshairs. could barely see bull in the bottom of my scope is this much of a drop normal would love any tips or advice or just to hear how much drop others are experiencing shot 32g ej’s at 3000psi thanx and happy shooting ken

Yea works good for that..I shot the yardages then entered the info and the software just wasn’t quite the same as the physical but as you said, a little adjusting and your killing stuff way out there….
