Q:

My first attempt at 100 yard groups

I used 21 grain kodiaks with little wind the first group was 8 shots at 2700psi then the second group with was better was on 2500psi and a 5 shot group all at 100 yards stock rifle.

I’m not happy at all with this but plan on getting the big tank refilled and work it out it sucked to only have 2500psi left in the big tank and it really bummed me out knowing I was out of air so that’s why 2700 the first group and then 2500 the second group and this was done on power wheel 8 if anyone needs that info.

Thanks and nice kit you have going there 🙂

VERY nice shootin’!!

Thanks fred I wasn’t aware of that and will get the replacement parts right away thanks again and I don’t use it very often so no issues but I don’t take chances 🙂

I hope you have a Winchester 100 that has had the firing pin replaced. There was a recall some years ago by Olin, apparently the firing pins were breaking. Could be dangerous. Olin will ship a new firing pin for free plus give you $30 for installation. Very nice gun. I own 2 of them. Will have to thin things out soon.

It’s a 1970s model 100 chambered in .308 but we’ve fired 7.62 through it since we had access to a ton of 7.62 ammo when my dad and I were in the same unit.

Nice shooting from your wife that’s strong.

Everyone has made me feel very welcome and I enjoy my time here.

Very nice shooting freddy. Ive only seen my condor shoot like that once, when my wife was shooting it. 😉

Her best was .89″ if I remember right.

You are holding onto a Model? Winchester, I cant remember the # for the autoloader. I had the model88 a long time ago. Best shooting levergun I ever had, pains me to think I traded it for a bolt rifle.

Looks like your gonna fit in around here just right. Welcome.

Yeah I’ll admit it I am a rookie with this weapon 🙂 and wet behind the ears is accurate knife and sam one of my fav movies too I’ll watch it no matter when it comes on 🙂 I like the nick 😉

F.F That’s your nickname from now on LT. Dan. One of my Fav. movies!!!

Yep! Still wet behind the ears! 😆

Long Range, Nest best thing to being there!!! 😉

Hope that Reg. set up works out well. 😀

Mike

Thanks pul, I’m going to try and make you guys proud once I get my feet wet with this weapon in competition and sam that’s much appreciated our family is like Lieutenant Dan from forest gump we’ve had a soldier in every war starting with the civil war (only they didn’t all die) 🙂 I’m 1/4 Blackfoot Indian so maybe even further back but the Italian/German ancestors came over in the early 1800s.

GREAT job F.F.!!! Thank you for your service and dedication to our country.

Groups look fantastic ! Congrats on a GREAT start at that distance 😀

Thanks benne 🙂

good luck with the competitions bro!!!

quote powderburner:

Man i like that ammo belt, it turns me on. To bad we live so far apart.WE could burn some powder together.. If the ol ladies would llet us. LOL

Oh, were do i need to look to learn how to put pics on here. Had a nice kill on a crow with the new condor this mornin,he droped like the wrath of lor hit him. with a body hit!. Never saw one drop like that with my 177’s had to head shoot um wit 177, or they would fly off with the hit. Second confirmed kill .Only hace 51 shots thru the condor so far.

By the way some bad ass shootin, your going to make me step it up for sure.

Thanks bennie and thanks powder the belt is dads from vietnam he put in 18 months and wanted something to remember the experience 🙂

That’s an old winchester .308 I’m holding a tachdriver too and I would like to see more of the marksman cross over to air rifles and especially the condor/talon because I am convinced it can compete at any range 100m and in with the high dollar rifles.

I will have the air hog regulated setup on it in less than 2 weeks and plan on taking a shot at competition with it so we’ll see.

I will send you a pm with the instructions on how to put pics up like that and I just learned how to do it from mamcrackin it’s only been 5 years of linking for me lol now I feel better all warm and fuzzy.

I have to admit liking the condor better than the ARs or 1911s or any of my powder weapons this is air induced crack.
