today i went to fetch a tin of .177 pellets and they WERE in a non-screw top tin…yep…at least 300 of them all over the floor! 😯 😯 😯
nothing but screw top tins for me from here forward…i shoulda known better!!! 🙄 🙄 🙄

i have one and i don’t use it, i found that when you are walking around it is swinging all around and isn’t as easy as you might expect to open and close with the snap lid.

I bought some cheap crosman pellet’s and threw them away and use the tins for the pellets I do use.

I have one of those too. I use it for lubing pellets though. I may have to re-purpose it.
I just dump about half tin or less into a ziplock/sandwich bag and put the bag into my shirt pocket, or into the shotgun shell pouch on my Fanny Pack.
When the ziplock bag is dropped, usually loose only a few, and carefully picking up the bag, saves the rest. If I dump the whole bag, loose half or less of a tin of pellets.
This has two advantages: Quiet carry for hunting, No fumbling a tin o pellets, just keep eye on quarry, load and shoot.
How do you manage tin of pellets, threaded or unthreaded lid, when out hunting? I never figured it out?
When I decided to get back into airguns, I bought a springer and a tin of pellets, went out in the yard, set up a target, cocked the springer and promptly spilled the 500 pellets onto the wet ground. Been using sandwich bags ever since.

The broccoli/cauliflower ones work well too…
i use cph tins, i just paint them white and use a marker. and i also use the rubbermaid containers, the real small ones for dressing ect, they work real good. and the only thing worse than dumping them on the floor is dumping them in dirt, i gave up on them. you guys reminded me, they just had my son tested for lead because i live in a 80 year old house, and he was good, i was worried because there is always the chance he may have picked up a stray pellet on the floor and ate it, my daughter when she was one i was wiping her ass and found a 1/4-20 nut in her shit, it was grade 8 and looked good as new. it is amazing what kids will eat

I had a few tins arrive from PA opened in the box all over the place. I also relocate them into daisy screw top tins, however, when I don’t have enough tins to compensate…trusty good ol’ rubber bands do the trick 😉

Just a thought after looking at some of your ideas leather ones seem nice but like mentioned trying to get the top flipped open, I might be older than some of you or younger anyway any of you remember the old rubber change purse I think they called them flat shaped like a football and had a slit down the center of it you just squessed both ends and it came open kind of like a pussy you get it now!!
