EDgun and JSB pellet comparison
I shot some groups with JSB 18.1gr and 15.9gr to see how they would
group. I had the gun clamped in the bench rest. The target is out @ 65yds
I didn’t measure the groups but you can get an idea of which one shoots
the best

Edgun. There is a oring maybe inside here were the arrow is pointing?
That is what I thought about, they seal the pellet chanal, yes, you can replace them in the way I described before. Greese them with the silicone (diver’s) greese time to time.

Nothing can happen to it.
Edgun, I think Mamcrackin means the o ring in the barrel end. The one between the barrel and the breech.
Sorry for my misunderstanding due to the my unknowing of the terms could you show me on the picture what O-ring are you talking about?
So did I but look a little deeper inside the breech… Might just look like an
oring but worth checking into….
I thought the only orings were on the bolt ❓

If you mean thos two 0-rings which seal the bolt — quite easy. You can see two screws on the back of the breech. Unscrew them, then move the breech backward slightly, it can be stuck but you can do it (you have to cock the hammer before). When you moved it back (keep the fingers beneth it to keep the detail inside of the breech out of fall), keep the hammer with the finger and pull the trigger to uncock it. Then you can change the O-ring on the bolt. That is the way to clean the barrell as well you just need to remove the moderator either. Then assemble it back the same way.
Thank you Edgun, I am meaning the oring inside the breech… I am looking inside where the pellet is loaded and it looks to be an oring inside….
it’s break free and will not damage you o-rings, as long as you’re not using the bore brush, bore brush could damage your bore and o-ring.

dvu0704, Thanks. I was wondering if the solvent would damage the o ring in the barrel? How many times have you cleaned your Edgun? Any trouble with the o rings?
You don’t need to remove the breech, but you may need to remove the shroud/moderator before cleaning it. Check out the video below.

dvu 0704, I googled the Otic Micro cleaning kit. Do you have to remove the breech to use it? Do you use the brush with solvents or dry? Or do you just use patches with solvent or dry?
