EDgun 2044 has arrived!!!
My EDgun finally arrived yesterday and I had a chance to shoot it today. All I can say is WOW! I will not be selling this one! I bought this with the thought that I’d be able to sell it easily and get all my money back if it wasn’t for me or if it didn’t live up to the hype. The EDgun lives up to the hype and I cannot say enough god things about it. It’s light and shoulders very comfortably. I have not been able to shoot at targets yet and measure groups but I was shooting today up to 80 yards and was hitting everything I was aiming at. I will post a my shot string soon. I knew the EDgun would be accurate but the consistency and efficiency really impressed me. Oh, the EDgun is also very quiet and just has a bit of a small bite if shooting it indoors. I am talking a very small sharpness or bite. When the SM is added, the sharpness disappears and it sounds like the gun is broken or putting out a very weak shot. I crossed my fingers before the first shot and was hoping everything was working right. I then smiled when I shot and heard how hard the pellet hit the target. I am very happy with my EDgun’s performance!!! 😀
I’ll take some better pictures tomorrow with a real camera instead of my iPhone.

I forgot to look at the ending pressure so ignore the psi per shot number. The first 50 shots are in red and the second 50 shots in blue. You can see that it didn’t really start dropping off until shot 66 😀

Well, you still have not seen Veles 🙂 when you see the reservoir, front and back plug, then regulator and put all together you can see there are less then 2 inches of the reservoir with the air between the fron plug and regulator and Veles still have 35-40 shots with 10.5 grain pellet at 200 m/sec (656 f/sec). I am wondering myself how I could do it 🙂 But seriously we made a lot of research trying to find the best solution for the air consumption.
I was checking that thing out and was trying to figure how you got the shot count so high with the small one! Good show!

If you are asking about Tach’s scope I believe it’s a Bushnell 4200. If you’re asking about mine it’s a 4-16×50 tactical by Hakko glass from Japan. We’ll see how it does against the Zeiss. The Conquest 4.5-14×44 will be a lot lighter and will have the Zapid Z 800 reticle. My Zeiss should be here Wednesday. I already know knifemaker’s a fan of these scopes. 😀 My 4.5-30×50 mildot 6500 is currently for sale on Ebay and the auction will end Sunday.

I think the EDgun has the best shot string I have ever seen…. I have
seen an SD of less than 3 on more than one gun and have seen less than
3 on most every string I have shot so far…. Incredible consistancy and
efficiency…. I still can’t comprehend how it gets so many shots per fill…

If you take this gun for hunting, 1 fill will last for several hours 😆
The accuracy and consistency of my Edgun is amazing! This is the same data as I posted earlier but this is big enough to read. This 100 shot string is from a single fill and using JSB 18.1 pellets. Ignore the average psi per shot because I forgot to record the ending air pressure. I got almost 70 shots before the fps started dropping off and the average for shots 1-50 was 31.45 FPE 😀

I am not sure if you guys aware of EDgun will be releasing new longer Moderator for the “Matador” sometime next year January/2010? It’s also an add-on and affordable pricing.
My Edgun deserves the best and I just scored a great buy on ebay for a Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14×44 Mildot rifle scope! I couldn’t pass on the price. Now I have to sell the Bushnell Elite 6500 4.5-30×50 Mildot that I just bought and haven’t even mounted. I love the 6500 but I’ve always wanted a Zeiss and I don’t target enough to need 30x magnification or I’d keep the 6500 instead of the 14x Zeiss. I wish it was the Z 600 reticle because it would have matched the trajectory of my 223 the price on the mildot was just too good. Now I’m going to have to buy some 1″ quick-detachable rings so I can use it on multiple rifles.
If anyone is interested, I’ll sell the Elite 6500 for $675.00 shipped which is a super great price if you look around. If no one here is interested I’ll list it on ebay and I’m sure I’ll be able to sell it for more. If someone wants a high power scope that can also be used for extremely close shots, you can’t do better than this Bushnell 6500. This 4.5-30×50 scope focuses all the way down to 25 yards!
