My Airwolf MCT is in the mail
I just got the call today from AoA that my Daystate Airwolf MCT is being shipped out! I am really looking forward to seeing how this baby performs. Daystate claims that this is a 40 ft/lb air rifle. I am curious to see if this claim is right or at least close. I also want to see just how flat the power curve really is and more than anything else, I want to see how accurate the MCT is. I’ll post pics when she arrives while the battery charges. 😕
Once she arrives, I will post shot strings using JSB 18.1 and H&N Baracuda Match, 21.14 grain pellets. I decided to buy the H&N’s instead of the Beeman Kodiaks because I have a feeling the H&N Barracudas will be a lot easier to find in the near future.
I am excited to finally have the two air rifles I wanted, the Edgun and the MCT. If the MCT is as good as I have heard, this pair will be my dream team. I tried to decide a few months ago which one I wanted and couldn’t make up my mind because they are so different from each other. The easiest thing to do was to buy them both. 😆

“Lot of other crap” to do list
1. Check air supply
2. Weigh and visually sort test pellets
3. Check Chrony and camera batteries
4. Change paper targets @ all locations
5. Put bird seed in feeder for Squirrels
6. Find paper and pen to record test results
7. Check fuel in vehicle incase you have to chase down the UPS truck.
I decided to stay home from work today to sign for the package and get a lot of other crap I have going on rolling. Still waiting…

Only 1 thing I like about this “Airwolf MCT”, it’s a king of shot count, be on that, nothing is interested me.

Ya, I can’t really complain. I had to shot the Edgun as soon as I got home and two squirrels later I had a smile on my face. One was at 40 yards and it’s still hanging on my neighbor’s tree 😳 and the other one was maybe 20 yards tops. I’ll post a couple pics later.

Damn that sucks !! I pick things up at the UPS warehouse all the time and no problems. Probably cause they all know me on first name basis. Well crap, looks like Mamcrackin’ happy meter is off the scale and you have a long face…. 😥

I’m sorry to say I had no luck! 😥
The whole place was a ghost town and it took me 30 min. Walking around the building just to finally see someone inside. The guy was really helpful but because of the holiday, it wasn’t even in an accesible spot yet. He said it was probably still in a truck and I have to believe him because in my tracking it showed that it left the one hub in my area last night with a departure scan but there isn’t an arrival scan to the place I visited today. I just happen to know that it usually goes there next and then goes out for delivery the same day. I wish AoA would have told me this because I would have paid extra to have it shipped by Air. They told me I would recieve it this week but I realize they don’t work for UPS and probably didn’t know that there were no ground shipments being delivered Dec. 31st. This is where they get the phrase, “so close but yet so far.”
Being a positive person and now knowing that there is nothing I can do but wait until Monday, I’ll just wait and be happy that I have the Edgun to shoot this long weekend.
