Took The Plunge**New Pics**
Between the weather and having nothing else to do,I decided to refinish my edgun stock.After struggling to get the paint stripped off my stock,I contacted Tachdriver for some pointers on how he did his.I hate working on gun stocks but I really like the wood look.I use the Birchwood gunstock refinishining kit and I am on my fourth coat of try oil finish which has to be applied by finger.Soory about the pics I took them with my camera phone because my brother has the camera.Not sure how many more coats I will apply before I call it quits.

It came in the case.Its academy sports signature series case.
Where did you get the foam for the case? Or where did you get the case itself? I’m looking for one for my Talon SS.

$100 when I checked a couple months ago.
Looks nice but I have to admit that I like the look of the black/grey on the EDgun. I’d love to have one reproduced in a black/grey laminate but odds are that I’ll give mine a lite sanding and go with the bedliner if/when it needs some attention.

To properly finish a stock could drive up the price even higher. A paintjob eliminates hours of work and wood selection and keeps the price down.
Personally I would give it a coat of black bedliner 😀
