I hear ya… and don’t take the H&N correction as a criticism… A lot of people don’t know this fact and I think its great everyone is sharing the information as Beeman changes hands to a Chinese owner.
I doubt lead pellets will be banned given the amount of lead in shotshells fired across the country during dove season.
Lead paint was a special problem. Children would teeth or chew on windowsills because it tasted sweet. The sweetness, of course, was the lead component of the paint.
Lead also has a nice property, it can be recycled indefinitely. Think traditional car batteries. Its actually the greenest technology out there!

Your right about which company made what dude, I was just so damn tired yesterday when I got in, that I did good just making the post about all this news… LOL…
Nothing surprizes me about the Germans either guys… Thank about it, they are very smart, hard working people and have over the years made some of the leading technology’s in the world… Coming up with this line of pellets, was a walk, for them I am sure…
Now what we need to hope for here in America, is first that we can keep getting the H&N brand as it is and that we can afford them… Next and the biggest worry I have, is that our crooked Gov’t here in the states doesn’t make lead illegal to have/use all together… I can see them do this very thing and actually I am not so sure they are not working on this very thing already… You know we can’t have lead based paint anymore, cause when stupid people eat thinks with lead on them, they are never the same!!! No dah!!! Doesn’t mean everything we paint is subject to be eaten here in America, unless your our Gov’t… Oh, hell I feel a rant coming on… Rowdy rant on!!!
You look at all this global warming BS they have going on right now!!! What they are doing with the emissions on diesel eguipment right now is ruining so many ways to try and make a living and keep this country going strong. I think this sort of thinking and actions from our Gov’t is the very reason this country is in the trouble we are right now, along with other blunders the Gov’t is doing of coarse… They think that the manufactures can make a diesel engine burn the fuel as is, and blow flowers at the tail pipe…. Total BS is going on here and at the cost of so many Americans right now… They could more easy address this with the fuel we burn instead and clean up all the emissions… The oil and gas company’s of the world have to much money and power they share with our Gov’t, not to mention all of the corp. lawyers they have to fight the changing of how they have to make the fuels… So that is not the way we do things here… So, they break us open like a .410 shotgun and shove it to us again!!!
Look at the state of Calif. right now… They have them selfs in a real bad mess right now with all the sanctions they have on things… The emission standards they have in place right now alone, is impossible to maintain and actually use some of the things that you need to in order to build and/or move things… It would be great if we could just snap our figures and we could have things so perfect, but we better crawl first, before we just get up and run with thinking like this… You just don’t dream this shit up and pass a bill to make this the only way legal anymore… Then have it work… You just watch we the people will be bailing this state out of hock soon… Just like Dodge and GM all over again… Total BS!!!
They can help them selfs and pull thier head out of their ass and use it to think out of the box with. Not how to dream shit up like this and expect them to pass a law on it and that alone makes it work… This type of thinking is like peace,love and dope, unfortunately we can’t have peace,love and dope all the time and only that, others on this planet that are bigger meaner and lots smarter will come over here and take everything from us…
So you guys better hope we don’t have something so bad as to ban the lead and make it unlawful… It could be just that easy too… Our legal system as a whole here in America is all messed up right now anyway… It doesn’t work for the general public that pay for it… It only works for the few… Three basically, the criminals, Lawyers, and politicians… You think about these three here, take a good hard look at them from a safe distance LOL, they are all three one in the same… Its all about control, they want to be able to control all of us and what we do,buy and use so bad… So buy your lead right and careful then be sure to use wisely… They use any and all things they can against us…

Beeman manufactures nothing of their own. They are a brand only. They have prided themselves on picking the very best manufacturers in the industry and bringing it to the American market.
I think their choices have been fantastic and I love the Kodiak and Crow Magnum in 177 pellets. H&N is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for Kodiak, Crow, and more of the Beeman line. Personally I will switch to H&N Barracuda Match and H&N Crow Magnum when I next order my pellets.

I shoot only Kodiaks with great results. The only fault I see is don’t use them in a gun that throws them slower then 800 fps. Heavy lead doesn’t like to move slow, but I’m sure that’s true for all heavy pellets.

Damn Chinese! At least right now the H&Ns are cheaper than the Beemans. I see what you’re saying about the H&Ns being an exact copy but I am pretty sure it’s the other way around. The Beemans are an exact copy of the H&Ns….two of the same tins, filled with the same pellets, just a different sticker on top.
They are the same pellet, just with a different name on them. Maybe the H&Ns are sorted better and thats why dvu0704 is getting better results with them. I have not experienced a difference but I don’t shoot them much either.

I got the scoop on Beeman, its been bought out by a China company and they are going to be somewhat hard to get for a while… Least till all this has been moved to there new home… Sure as heck wish I had known this was going to happen sooner…
H&N is one and the same. Least for the current stock… They are exact copys for the Beeman line…
All I can say right now is thank God that JSB has stepped up to the plate and made the .22 Monsters… Thank God Jerry is in the process of making two different .22 pellets also, lets all say a little prayer that these two new .22 slugs he is in the process of bringing out soon are going to fly straight and stack one on top of the other…
The sad news I hear about from H&N, is going to be they cost a little more than the Beeman line has, since they come from Germany, so shipping and foreign taxes coming in bound to the US is going to run the price up more than what we are using to paying for the Beeman line…
So you guys, plan your chit around this if possible… Its going to be a PITA for a little while and cost more also… Thank God for Jerry’s slugs for the bigger end of the spectrum…
I am getting better results when shooting the H&N pellets.
I thought those h&n’s were supposed to be the exact same weren’t they? Or am I thinking of a different pellet?

Ok I see what you mean. For the past few years once the Kods go out of stock it takes forever for them to get back in stock…..at least this is the case for PA.

AOA did nail me the wall when they first got the .25s’ in, but then again, they were the only ones with any in stock!
