I have an AIR GUN question this time. :)
I got excited buy the thought of having a decent size collection of neat rifles by the people like Rob3dr and WOK. They have all these cool rifles. The problem I am having is that I never seem to be able to grab one and feel confident right away that I can hit a pest or something. I seem to need to lock into the one I am using and stick with it to be grab it and shoot accurate. Do you guys rotate them in some sort of cycle of months or something? Or maybe there is a secret to setting them up to be ready to go? I am getting the feeling I would rather just have one or two favorites and leave it at that. Any wisdom?
Mike

Great looking guns, Tfaz… stunning.
This Winter, I’ll need to pick your brain a bit on big bore mods… I have a 909s that is a bit anemic and a Haley .32 that lacks balls as well….
It is not a question of settling, that is where I ran out of money too.
😆

Mike…if you are able to settle for just 1 or 2 airguns, consider yourself lucky..I currently have 5, and there are at least2 more I wish I owned right now..it’s an addiction I tell ya!!!! 😆 😆 😆
GEEEZZZ….ok, for me, it would be the AA410
Heres why. I simply don’t know that much about the DAYSTATE MK4. Well, as far as how it shoots and such. Just don’t read much about it. I also don’t care much for the ELECTRONICS display on the gun. I am more of a traditionalist and want my gun to look the part. I would be too scared the display would go out which i’m sure it will at some point. I’m sure only the Manufacturer can fix it. And i don’t send MY guns back to the MANUF/DEALER to get fixed. But it is one sweet looking rig and DAYSTATE has a great reputation. Now again, to all you MK4 owners, I SAID that I KNEW NOTHING OF THAT GUN. So i’m pretty sure its the best on the list.
The HW100 is a little on the weak side for my taste but it is a good gun as i’ve shot one before. I shot the HW100 and it was pretty darned accurate. Just needed a boost in the FPE category. Only cause i hunt in the VAST areas of the ……….DESERT.
The AA410 series of guns to me seems to have it all. LOOKS, FUNCTION, RELIABILITY, REPUTATION, ACCURACY, POWER. Now, i would have preferred the old style BOLT ACTION but hey, i can live with lever action. I’ve shot the new 410 ERB and it was a very nice feeling gun and i could point and swing it easily. It really felt good in my hands with my stature. Plus, everyone that gets the AA guns never seem to need to mod them. But i’ve modded a AA carbine and i fell in love with that lil gun.
I know you want the MK4 so i am gonna throw it back at you and say go for either the aa410 or the mk4.
I had to ask!! Junkie! Nice showing for sure. I gotta get some pics taken; soon.
Too bad you’re in the land of fruits and nuts and I’m in Senile-land as ‘hoot’ says. Speaking of Hoot — where was I going with this now; oh yeah! Who you calling senile! 😯
Tofaz — pick one and why (all .22 cal): MK4, AA410 or HW100 DAMN!
lol…..now a machine gun would be a good addition.
Lets see:
1. Dragon Slayer that i had changed over to .454 caliber. 250 FPE

2. Jack Haley 32 (older version). 80 FPE

3. Crosman 2240 (now with 14″ brl). 10 FPE

4. Condor .25. 130 FPE

5. Logun Solo .20. 28 FPE

6. Jack Haley .457. 452 FPE

7. Theoben Rapid .25. 49 FPE

SHHIIIIIITTTTT!!! i only have 7 airguns….damn it MG….I need a new gun too now..LOL!
ill borrow that REVO if ya want to loan it out for a bit
ill send ya my mac 1 LD in trade and when im done ill send the revo back
😈
LOL!!!!!!!! Hey Tofaz… what air guns you have?
And, I’d rather own a machine gun than a powder burner. I don’t have to aim and I can get up real close and personal. 😆
OHHH FUCKS SAKE MACHINE GUN…your like a damned woman….LOL
There is no pleasing your ass. Your delima is exactly what happens when you buy EVERY damn thing you want. Now that you have everything, you are left wanting and wanting and cant decide what to get…lol
I’m out of ideas for you bro..lol
P.S. I’ve done it before too a while back but, no airgun should be compared to a powder burner. Terminal Performance, POWER, DISTANCE wise, and ACCURACY over distance, powder burners have all the advantages. My big bore airguns compare NAUGHT to any of my big powder burners. My 6.5×55 swede or 7.62x39mm or .308 drives circles around my big bore BB GUNS.
😆 😆 😆 😆
Oh yeah. Sigged 😀
Lucky for you he isn’t taking order’s then.
I want to get a HW100 but the Rapids shoot better and I already own two.
I’d like to get an AA410 but the Daystates and Rapids shoot better. I own all of them.
The HW100 and AA410 are both great guns but the aforementioned are better shooters so why bother.
I was thinking about getting a .22 MCT but have been holding off. I’ve also been thinking about getting a MK4 and that’s the one I’ve been leaning towards. I don’t know. I really like the looks of the HW100 thumbhole but it doesn’t make any sense for me to buy one.
As far as the big bores — they nice but my feelings are that if you’re going towards big bores, you may as well buy a 30-06 and shoot the real thing. The .22 and .25 cal air rifles are just plain fun to shoot and offer something other guns don’t have.
So many decisions! 😆
Sooo…..Machine gun, how long you been dealing drugs down there in senile-land???? Even though you don’t type with an accent, I can just hear you saying:
“Say Halo to mi lettle frin!!!” BRRRRRAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTT……
Is it true you guys have to weigh your money instead of count it? Don’t deny it. No one legal has that many quality PCP’s! Well…perhaps Bill Gates.
I don’t have a pot to piss in, or a single-wide to toss it out of, and you’ve got more guns than god. I tried to buy the cardboard box Mamcrackin’s Lela came in, and I couldn’t even afford that! (The cheap bastard offered me a 12 month layaway plan on the box, with 29% APR on the unpaid balance!)
Even so, I’m still Christian enough to want to help. Send me one (1) of the Rapids. That creates a vacuum in your arsenal which can then be filled with the HW100. Unless you’re shooting one Rapid in each hand, you have one too many anyway!
Further, I won’t charge you one dime! Not one dime!
Regards,
Kindly ‘Ol One-eyed Uncle Hoot….whose always trying to help people.
The pistols don’t do anything for me as I already have a real arsenal in pistols. I can shoot on my property here so all I need to do is go outside and let loose. The air rifles are fun to shoot.
Here’s my predicament:

Your original post said you were thinking about settling for one or two favorites , and nothing about running out of money. If MONEY is the issue then you’re in the same predicament I find myself in from time to time, but being a true airgun junkie, I have managed to overcome that onstacle time and time again….have 5 airguns now, and there are at least 2 more that I wish I had RIGHT NOW!! One of which is a Daystate MK4, man oh man oh man
